When I saw the news of those freakish tornadoes hitting in February that caused such havoc, the first thing that crossed my mind was, “What on earth are we doing to Israel?” God made it clear we are not to go against Jerusalem, God’s holy city, or tamper with His holy land. But our American leaders are, and I dread to think of the consequences as the “roadmap for peace” is negotiated... Watch the storms increase every time we double-cross little Israel. I believe we are just getting a taste of what is coming.

Isn't is obvious? I mean, everyone knows there were never freakish tornadoes in the U.S. prior to the founding of Israel in 1948, right? Right? Oh, never mind.
The US caters to Isreal, so if god is doing damage it is because of others are doing, not us. It is other nations that have something against Isreal, namely others in the middle east - why is god not destroying their country with natural disasters instead of ours?
Oh, wait. The US is playing god and destroying those country in his place, so I guess he doesn't have to do anything.

Actually, I disagree somewhat. While Washington has been supportive of Israel (since 1967, at least), it does so to advance its own interests in the Middle East. It's a common mistake to think that Israel has any authority over US policy, in fact it is the converse that holds.

That's odd, when I see news about tornadoes, the first thing that crossed my mind is usually, "My, that is an awful lot of wind whirling around in such a small space!"
One of the main disadvantages of attributing any disaster to God's will because he wants to punish us because of something has the awful disadvantage of not being mathematic. People who are depraved and evil to the core have never been attacked by a hurricane in their lives. People who have been pious and devote all their lives, have been run over by Katrina. In the case of Israel, I find interesting that God didn't send more tornadoes when his people wandered and where landless for over 1800 years.
