Quote# 38378

1) Evolution may be true, but it is more often than not pushed by liberal communists, and has perhaps since its birth been the product and tool for political agendas.

2) Evolutionists tend to be atheist, which is not in of itself all bad. The bad part is that some atheists are atheists because of evil. Meaning, they actually despise the good, noble things that God and spirituality represent.

As opposed to praising the down-right evil and dispicable things that God represents? I'm sure that's a very good reason to be a Christian...

Look out, kids, the commies are coming!

4/28/2008 6:27:36 PM

Hello there. You seem to be stuck in a time-warp. The red scare is over. That is all.

4/28/2008 6:28:51 PM

liberal communists! That doesn't make sense!

4/28/2008 6:31:49 PM

Liberal communists? Ask China how they feel about Liberals.

What about the evil, disgusting things that God and spirituality represent?

4/28/2008 6:38:24 PM

Okay watch this then.

1) Creationism isn't close to being true, and is pushed by religious conservative fascists, and is used as a tool to chain the masses to certain religious organizations.

2) Creationists are all theists, which is not bad in itself. What is bad is though theists aren't evil they have a very screwed moral compass that causes them to unknowingly commit acts of evil in the name of their god.

Old Viking

There's a chance that I won't despise the good, noble things that God and spirituality represent if I ever find them.

4/28/2008 6:41:29 PM

is there a point to this rambling?

4/28/2008 6:44:18 PM

Evolution = communism again? When you think about it doesn't Fundie Christianity with its all seeing all knowing Commisar in the sky sound a lot like communism. And doesn't evolution with its natural selection with its importance of adaptation and survival of the fittest sound like laissez-faire capitalism?

Made this argument to a fundie and watch blood shoot out of their ears.

Doctor Whom

Do you know who Lysenko was? Just asking.

4/28/2008 6:53:07 PM

Liberalism and communism are two quite opposite ideologies, fuckwit.

4/28/2008 6:57:44 PM

The "good and noble things" like.. say witch trials, inquisitions, crusades, 9/11?

I tried, but I just can't see your point.. perhaps it is your unique perspective seeing as how your head is crammed up your ass.

"liberal communists" Oh, noes!
Wait a minute. Wasn't Jesus a liberal communist?

Creationists tend to be religious, which is not in of itself all bad. The bad part is that some religous people are religous because of evil. Meaning, they actually use religion to further their selfish, hateful agendas.

4/28/2008 7:06:46 PM

Well a lot of people have died in the name of religion, so even if there is a God, He is blah blah blah blah blah blah

4/28/2008 7:07:54 PM

1) Evolution may be true.

2) Evolutionists tend to be atheist, which is not bad

There, that's better.

4/28/2008 7:21:18 PM

Even if it were true that the ToE is most often "pushed" by communist, that in no way would effect whether or not the ToE is true. The truth from Jesus or the truth from Satan is still the truth.

The evil Science strikes again!

Nothing in evolution says anything about God for or against. The only people who have problems with it are the ones who insist on Genesis being literally true.

4/28/2008 8:20:54 PM

Commies haven't been much of an issue for quite a few years now. Where the hell have you been? Now it's all about the...fundamentalists, worldwide.

4/28/2008 9:03:09 PM

So, if truth is not convenient to you, lying for Jesus is ok?. And has never come to your mind that religion can be used and manipulated for the most abhorrent things?, those in which you have to evoke the not true Scotchman?

4/28/2008 9:24:26 PM

"and has perhaps since its birth been the product and tool for political agendas."

Oh the ironing.

4/28/2008 9:37:00 PM

To the shelter!

4/28/2008 9:48:52 PM

Both of these are examples of the ad hominem argument: communists and atheists believe in evolution; I don't like communists and atheists; therefore, evolution is false.

4/28/2008 11:06:41 PM

Yes! Lets get rid of "liberal commie" ideas such as 5 day working weeks, 8 hour working days, healthcare, education of the masses and indeed child labour laws.

This way I can send small children down my mines, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and not worry when they lose hands in the machinery...

4/28/2008 11:06:57 PM

This one claims to see shades of gray. It's... It's... It makes me hopeful.
