If you had a supported reason for using up the Sun, would you do it?

I am thinking chiefly of 2 Peter 2:9-13 when I ask the following question:

If you had a supported reason for using up the Sun, would you do it?

I understand that you will feel a natural tendency to search for and provide your own intuition about what such a reason could be, so I will not impose my own ideas, but suffice it to say: I feel that no matter what the reason was, it would be a sin to do so.

Really? So how do you feel about the fact that the Devil is going to do it?

Do you realise that the Devil is going to destroy the Sun?

Have you got the same plans now as you had a moment ago?

It's English, I know it is. I recognise the words. What the hell is this person trying to say?

"I will not impose my own ideas"

1. How in the bloody hell could anything but time use up the sun? Do we get to decide how much of it we use now? Wouldn't it make more sense to use less of it, because of global warming/the ozone layer and all?

2. Do I have the same plans? Well, I was going to go to church, but since the Devil's gonna destroy the sun and I'm a terrible night driver, I'd better stay home and whack off.

I plan on using up the sun to build my dyson sphere along with 99.99% of the rest of the solar system too. Old Nick's just a contractor.

The Sun is about middle-aged, which means Mr. Sun is about to go out and buy a Ferrarri. No, seriously, in about 5 billion years, it will use up all of its hydrogen, and become a red giant, like Antares or Arcturus. It will engulf Mercury, Venus, and Earth, with its larger size. No debbil involved, just the life cycle of stars. Nothing to worry about, as I don't plan on being here 5 billion years from now, either.

How would you propose we use less of it?
