I believe he said that the only conceivable way life could be intelligently designed would be if aliens (which had themselves evolved by natural selection) did it, and did it to mimic their own life processes.

That is not admitting to intelligent design so much as calling it stupid, which it is. Of course, you'd know that if you weren't such a tool yourself.

@LexKitten: Haven't seen it myself, but apparently Dawkins obliged the filmmakers when they asked him under what circumstances Intelligent Design could have actually taken place. In Dawkin's scenario, the "unknown agent" of ID was not God but regular, non-divine extraterrestrials. He then made the point that those extraterrestrials themselves would have had to evolve without any design to begin with. Dawkins intended it to be presented as a mere thought exercise to illustrate ID's primary failings (i.e. "We don't say it's God," and "Who designed the designer?") without any claims that it was remotely likely, let alone an acutal belief of his.

I'm not sure how they sliced that one up, but appparently that sequence is followed with Stein saying, "You've got that right. Richard Dawkin's believes in aliens!" or some such crap.

Dawkins wrote an article all about that in his blog.

If there is such a thing as Intelligent Design, why do Americans hold so much to circumcising baby boys? Intelligence would dictate that the Design would be perfect. So, what's wrong that boys in America are being surgically abused as infants. This seems to fly in the face of reason and logic, not to mention the need to protect the child from abuse.
