I'm in agreement. A mother can find out her life will be seriously threatened if she has a child, but if she's a believer she should leave her life and her baby's in God's hands. It's all about His will not ours.

hahahaha no. if i ever found out my life would be seriously endangered beyond the normal dangers of pregnancy, i wouldn't put myself at such extreme risk by carrying out the pregnancy. if i put it in god's hands, the pregnancy would kill me. i trust science more then god.
and for other-religionists, atheists, and non-fundie Xian: do the logical thing, abort the foetus. In the case of late-term: deliver and see if it survives. There's nothing in the bible about a mother having to die, especially as the baby would probably die as well. That's a spin-off of Catholic (ie. non-Xian (sic)) belief.
Well, if you're religious, we have to leave you that option, just like the fools who refuse blood transfusions because they think it's consuming blood [Blood goes in your bloodstream, only vampires drink blood]
If you want to die for your absurd extreme pro-life stance, go for it.
Seriously. Fuck you.
Do you even CARE that people die because they put their lives in "God"'s hands?
Fucking A, this is why James Hetfield wrote the song "The God That Failed".
It's somewhat sad, that these rapturites don't seem to realize, that they are in control of their own lives themselves. They just seem to me as a bunch of pinballs stuck in a divine game at the heavenly arcade hall.
magnolia,
and should you ever get cancer, having your life seriously threatened by a cancerous tumour, as a believer you should leave your life in God's hands. It's all about His will not yours.
Taking chemotherapy would be against God's will, won't it?
So you are saying that God can save her and her baby if that's what he wants to happen, right?
In which case there's no harm in her attending an abortion clinic and attempting to get her pregnancy terminated, because if it was not God's will the nothing would happen.
Last time I checked, you're not a mother until you've had a child. Otherwise I would be a mother, as I carried a fetus for 11 weeks before I miscarried.
magnolia, could you ask that God of yours what His will was, when he made me unable to reproduce?
If a woman carrying a fetus, found out that her life was threatened by keeping that fetus, she should consider removing said fetus, especially if she already has children. They need their mother more than a non-viable lump of cells that probably won't live long enough to be viable.
I uphold your right to make your own decision on this issue with regards to your body. My opinion about your decision in such a case is irrelevant. Whatever your decision is, I hope that it is one that you have considered carefully, and that you have come to rationally and without coercion.
That's what it means to be "pro-choice." Its a very different position from that of the rabid, slavering baby killer that your lot tries to portray, isn't it?
(emph-ass-is added):
"I'm in agreement. A mother can find out her life will be seriously threatened if she has a child, but if she's a believer she should leave her life and her baby's in God's hands. It's all about His will not ours . "
How right you are (emphasis added):
Hosea 13:16: 'Samaria will be held guilty, For she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword, Their little ones will be dashed in pieces, And their pregnant women will be ripped open. '
After all, abortion sends innocent souls quicker to Heaven. So no hypocrisy there, nosiree. [/mega-sarcasm]
Tell you what magnolia, lets let the woman compare your god's track record of saving lives with medical sciences' record of saving lives.
And try not to be surprised by her decision.
So basically, you're saying she should trust someone who, if he exists (although he probably doesn't), is a genocidal murderer almost on the same level as Hitler?
Confused?
