This is even beyond the poe level of stupidity. This is cousins sleeping in the same bed and accidents happening kind of stupidity.
You know, making shit up doesn't change reality. You can try and try and try, but the facts remain. One of those facts is that you don't know, or understand, shit.
So not only can't Hovind tell the truth, but his fundie followers can't tell the truth about him not telling the truth. Or, probably, even discern that their own statements are false, much less his.

I'm pretty sure there is no evidence to suggest that Kent Hovind has EVER told the truth to ANYONE about ANYTHING. He doesn't even get the religious claptrap right and his "views" on science are sadly pathetic. Any curious third grader could debunk his garbage, beyond any shadow of a doubt, with a two minute Google search.
BTW, that "debate" they're so fond of citing? Well, the whole comment about the INTRO was something like, "I can't top that for irrational thinking and it doesn't have anything to do with the theory of evolution". The rest of the "debate" consisted of Hovind's usual stunt of proposing some impossible scenario then "using evolution's explanations" he "proves" that evolution is wrong because the scenario is impossible. Since his own personal definition of evolution is false, any statements he makes about it are, by definition, false because he is talking about something else.

Kent Hovind is a liar, cheat, fraudster and con man.
Luckily, he got what he deserved.
Winning a debate is not the same as "debunking" established scientific facts. Scientific theories are not phased by a few simplisitic interpretations and pseudo-philosophical arguments. They are also not phased by a debater's charisma, confidence, or clarity. Nor phased by the public opinion on it. Scientific theories are based upon observed facts, and only observed facts that lead to a contrary interpretation can "debunk" the theory. Creationism tries to do so and fails to do anything more than mislead the audience with fallacious arguments.
The fact that Hovind puts on a good show is no more to the point of evolution's accuracy than David Blaine's performance skills are a testament to the existence of magic.
Anytime I see lying slimebags like Hovind and the word "truth" in the same sentence, I have to assume that the poster is either(A) a Hovind plant in on the fundie stupidity scam to make money off the rubes or (B) A fundie sheep who was doesn't want to admit that he was gullible enough to be taken in by the shyster hiding behind the fake ministry who willfully lied in FEDERAL COURT after swearing ON A BIBLE, to tell the whole truth "SO HELP ME GOD" and is trying to ignore his own stupidity.

He might have thought he debunked Evolution, but the "Trained Educated Proffesors" (whatever that is) probably laughed their heads off and couldn't argue anymore, as their heads were gone.
