I love hurricanes in Florida, it's like surfing in Gods washing machine. And a great way to be filled with adrenalin and faith..........lots of faith!

"filled with adrenaline and faith" Dude, sorry to break it to you, but the stuff you find in your costume after the hurricane isn't faith, it's shit.
Running around in a hurricane is a great way to be filled with high velocity stones and water..... lots of water!
But I guess that doing so is likely to send you closer to God, so I can only encourage you to do so. It will help naturally select memes like your death cult so that the average intelligence rises.

What the fuck is WRONG with you?
You realize that people died, right?
You understand that that's bad, right?
:-( I'm glad I'm not in the fundie circle anymore. What horrid things to say! Do they even follow Christ's teachings anymore? Guess not.
Beeblebrox, I'm sorry you lost someone in the hurricane :-(
Hurricanes are fun... until they kill a buddy of yours, wreck your house, or injure you for life. Then suddenly they're not so awesome anymore. I used to love storms and hurricanes and floods, they were big fun and exciting. Then this record-heavy rainstorm caused a landslide, a buddy of mine lost her house and mom... and suddenly the fun was gone. Guess that makes me a stupid atheist somehow, but what the heck, I'd rather respect danger. Nothing bad about people who like hurricanes, but I don't think I ever will do so again.
oh please, this person just likes hurricanes and hasn't stood still to the havoc they wreck to other people, he's not an asshole/douchebag/*insert foul insult here* just ignorant.
I like a good heavy wind or a storm, it makes you feel alive, doesn't mean I have to like the damage is causes to other people.
disclaimer: i live safely in Europe and we have no real hurricanes to speak of here, so i might have a crooked view on hurricanes.
I actually live on the Florida coast, and I know that at least where I'm from, there aren't really many good waves unless a storm is passing by. Sure, it comes across as a bit assholish to just want a hurricane to come through for some good surfing while it goes off to wreck somebody else's town elsewhere along the line. However, it seems equally ridiculous to stay at home and not enjoy the good waves just because the hurricane might wreck someone else's town.
Confused?
