Recently, a thought captivated my mind that proves that the theory of evolution is a big hoax. The thought is simple and yet profound ... why is there no recorded history before approximately 4,000 B.C.? The answer is obvious ... there was no history! Think about it!

From Wiki regarding history of China:
At Damaidi in Ningxia, 3,172 cliff carvings dating to 6,000-5,000 BC have been discovered "featuring 8,453 individual characters such as the sun, moon, stars, gods and scenes of hunting or grazing."
I understand that some fundies don't accept carbon dating techniques, convenient eh?
There... is.
That aside, your conclusion relies on the assertion that there was no prehistory, which is far from proven. In fact, the only thing you can use to prove the assertion is the conclusion you're trying to prove. Nice (well, I say nice...) job of hiding your circular reasoning, but it's there.
Nope. Recorded history goes back probably a millennium before that, and in any case, unless you have some weird Derrida thing about writing being more important than speech, there is absolutely no reason why writing and speech should coincide.
In addition to the Sumerians and Egyptians:
Bulgaria, 5000 BCE
Possibly China, 6600 BCE
...why is there no recorded history before approximately 4,000 B.C.?
Because there was no written language prior to that. The very first marks that could be considered a "written language" showed up around 9,000 years ago in the form of "counting tokens". These were used to keep track of parcels of land, animals, measures of grain or property transfers between settlements or individuals. These counting tokens began emerging around the time Humanity was transitioning from hunter-gathering nomadic tribes into an agrarian society.
Around 4100 B.C.E. a written alphabet began to show up as symbols pressed into clay tablets. The earliest example on record was found in Urak. After this, written language began to morph into pictographs. The next step was to formalize these pictographs. The best example of this formalization is called "Cuneiform".
You f***ing retard.
Here's a little something about a set of petroglyps just 15 miles from where I live.
What: This Rock Art associated with Nez Perce and pre-Nez Perce tribes consists of hundreds of images in dense clusters dating from 4500 years ago. Some potentially historic ranching features on the Idaho side of the Snake River set a scene of the rural West. This is the most interesting petroglyph site I have been to.
"Why was there no internet before a couple decades ago?
The answer is obvious!!"
Of course it's obvious! Humans did not exist 20 years ago, so there was no one in the world to create the internet. This proves that God created the earth about 20 years ago.
Sumerians, Ancient Egyptians, Aceramic during the Neolithic (6000+ yrs ago), The first horsemen of the Ukraine (6000 yrs ago) and the oldest map in the world, discovered in Ukraine in 1966, is from about 10,000 B.C.
I guess I have proven your version of history is a false one. Have a nice day!
Just because nothing was written down, does not mean that there was nothing.
Also, there ARE writings before 4000 BC, and there are cave-paintings that predate even those. A failure is you.
"why is there no recorded history before approximately 4,000 B.C.?"
Because when we point it out to you, you say the dating is 'obviously' incorrect because the world began around 4000 BC?
Well, the last dinosaur was going to write a memoir about his life before the meteor hit, but scrapped the idea when he realised he didn't have opposable thumbs to hold the pen. Not to mention, finding a publisher would have been a bitch.
Another fundie saying "think about it" with no ability to do so himself. I love it.
Recorded history before 4000 BC is actually quite readily and easily accessible. It may not be on paper written with pen because written language wasn't exactly the norm. But, it's there. Stone tools, pottery, hieroglyphs/petroglyph's, stamp seals, oral traditions that trump anything the bible ever said, shall I go on? I'd have to do a Google search to continue because I am not a bank of information on the ancient world, but I am sure it would be quite easy to do.
Or, you know, you could do it and actually learn something in the process.
Think, on the other hand, about the Cro-Magnon. Pre-literate, pre-technology, I'm sure they had quite a bit to say, but no way to preserve their philosophy of life, the universe, and everything.
Palaeontologists, archaeologists, anthropologists, and all-the-other-ologists concerned, agree on their existence until about 10K years ago. Which is 8K BCE. Which precedes those quasi-Levantine goatfuckers' creation of their deified psychopath.
The answer is obvious...you're fulla shit, Dave! Think about it!
you just pulled that date out of your ass because it was your preexisting notion, didn't you? How do I know, you ask? Well, for starters I took 6th grade history.
OR that's about when people started caring about history. Seriously, dinosaurs didn't care about history, ergo, they didn't record it.
Let me summarize for you:
"Recently a thought entered my mind that disproves evolution <insert obviously unresearched, comically incoherent nonsense that flies in the face of easily verifiable evidence>!!
Think about it!"
First off, this has nothing to do with evolution. Also, if humal history in the bible was true, it wouldnt be untill about 3500-3000 B.C. before you got real written history, people would need time to diversify and develop cultures. In addition, all history should stop around the time of the flood. It didnt
Confused?
