"Sad that people feel the need to come up with such fantaises to fill some void in their lives. They need salvation from Our Lord, not SciFi stories."
How right you are. So instead of using a combination of genetic engineering and nanotechnology - i.e. Ruri Hoshino* in the Sci-Fi anime series "Martian Successor Nadesico":

your 'God' takes a lump of dirt and makes a man from it. And only then, makes a cloned woman from said dirt-man - via his rib. With no exact, precisely detailed explanation as to how he did so. Gotcha.
Then said rib-woman is persuaded to eat a magical fruit by a talking snake. At least Aisha Clan-Clan comes from a race of sentient, speech-capable werecats/wolves known as Ctarl-Ctarl in the Sci-Fi anime series "Outlaw Star":

And said dirt-man/rib-woman were created in this way - So why couldn't said creator just poof them into existence, as he did with the universe? Which therefore begs the question: Who created the creator? If you ask me, it was the Golden Tribe (in the Sci-Fi anime series "Heroic Age"):

Who created everything. (and a Sci-Fi scenario has at least as much credibility as the Bible's story, eh?)
Yet, you expect we Atheists to take what you - and that load of BS called the Bible - says on spec, on so-called 'faith'?
Frankly, the 10th-rate pile of Xenu-crap known as the 'OT-III Incident Document' feverishly churned out by the 1000th-rate pulp hack, and pathological liar ('I'm drinking lots of Rum, and popping pinks and greys' - LRH) L. Ron Hubbard - which became the basis of $cientology - has far more credibility, scenario-wise, than the fairytale that is the Bible. And LRH came up with the ultimate insult to Sci-Fi that was "Battlefield Earth".
At least we Sci-Fi fans have something called 'Suspension of Disbelief' - but tempered by the fact that in some cases, what was once speculated about has come to pass: "2001: A Space Odyssey" was released in 1968 - a year before Armstrong's 'One Small Step For Man' (and way before Arthur C. Clarke's original story the film was based on). In 2005, the film "Stealth" postulated the concept of Quantum Computing, and a particular application for such (the AI core of the UCAV E.D.I.). Quantum Computers already exist.
Moral: The Science Fiction of the past, is the Science Fact of today. The Bible, and what it claims happened? Old and busted, I'm afraid. 'SciFi stories' is the new hotness.
*- Thus solidifying Keiji Gotoh's reputation as anime director and character designer God supreme.
