"I'm thinking though, that satanic power does not include direct manipulations in the physical realm. For instance, causing storms."
Nah, that's Storm, a member of the X-Men. And she fights for the forces of good.
"I'm wondering what power satan has on earth. I know he and his crew have power to 'possess'..."
Well, he certainly possesses the ability to completely fuck up God's power to start Armageddon. After all, if God has already widely publicised his plan for the 'End of the World' in Revelation, then all Satan has to do to win the war, certainly in this case, is merely to refuse to play God's game. Do nothing.
The very fact said 'Armageddon' has yet to happen (and there's been ample opportunity for such to occur), is proof of this.
If you were General Eisenhower in WWII, would you have sent Hitler a letter detailing everything in Operation Overlord; troop numbers, ships, planes, landing sites, even down to when said invasion would happen?
If you knew you would be involved on a war you knew was impossible to win, what would you do, FatherApe? Think carefully before answering. Because if your answer is the only possible one, your 'beliefs' would be destroyed. After all,
If Satan knows he can't win said 'war' detailed in Revelation, then why should he participate in such? Thus would Bible prophecy - and therefore Christian belief - be completely fucked.
How do you explain 'Armageddon' not happening, even though there's been plenty of opportunities in the past for such to happen - certainly as described in Biblical prophecy?
Or to reiterate what Grey Seer says above. Mayhaps the simple reason why you wonder what you do (check one):
[ ] Satan doesn't exist. And even if he did, why should he play God's game? As stated above.
[ ] Satan doesn't exist, therefore (and furthermore, why 'Armageddon' hasn't happened to date) God doesn't exist.
Choose wisely.
