People don't hate Bush because he's a Christian, but because he's a fucking douchebag criminal. And an idiot that does not deserve to be president.

Funny, I said that not only 8 years ago but 4 years ago.

Bush's religious views are secondary to all the other crap he's pulled and the lives he's endangered and the fact that the future of this country, financially and diplomatically, is pretty fucked.
Look beyond your bible; you'd be surprised how much of a real world is out there to see.

He shouldn't be impeached. He should be tried for (multiple) treason(s).

I'll keep that statement in mind if Obama becomes president.

"Wow, a President that stands for freedom, liberty and is a Christian ..."
The way this started out, I thought it was going to be an endorsement for Obama.
Then it got derailed by fundifucktardiness.

[...a President that stands for freedom, liberty...]
...and detention without trial...and warrentless wiretaps...
[...and is a Christian...]
...like all the other Presidents before him.
[...and people don't like him]
People don't like him because he's a self-righteous ignoramus and a liar.
[Those that like this idea [impeaching Bush] are either ignorant or misinformed of any absolute truth found in the world and lack a good sense worldview.]
The hypocrisy of that statement is beyond belief.
[We don't live in a vacuum...]
No, we don't. Which is why things are so fucked up right now.
[...and there are absolutes...]
Yes--Bush has ABSOLUTELY no business being in the White House?
[Thank God for a man like Bush who has stood up to these pressures.]
Ignored them, you mean?
[God help us in the next 4 years, if America lasts that long.]
On that note, we actually agree. Though probably not the way you think.

Bush is an idiot, an ass, a boob, a willing puppet, a liar and a crook. That he's a Christian barely matters after listing those qualities.

Not a surprise. The racist conservative base has had it's head exploding about Obama for a while now.

Bush and his cabal are traitorous criminals deserving nothing more than what they gave Saddam.
Anyone supporting them is either making a buck from their activity or is severely brain damaged (in which case they should have their voting privileges revoked).
Bush may claim that he's a Christian but Jesus might have a different opinion were he alive.

I don't mind a Christian president. I do, however, resent a Christian president who wants to incorporate his theist beliefs into my Constitution. I was right behind Bush up until the point he started babbling about an anti-gay marriage amendment.
I can't conceive of anything more heartbreaking and un-American than a Constitutional amendment based on religious faith and aimed at one particular minority group.

Freedom: he has authorized the indefinite detention of POWs (and citizens on his shit list, i'm sure)
Liberty: Habeas Corpus - removed
If this nation gets fucked up/over, I would rather it be by the people than by Sir President Fuckwit.
