"I played it with a friend in the 8th grade. I was 14 at the time. I'm now 20. I asked it questions and it gave me scary answers like my sister's name, my mom's name."
The Ouija board works on the principle of idiosyncratic movement you dolt. That and outright fraud by one or more of the players to dupe the the one of lowest intelligence. There's a poker idiom that I think is apt: "If you can't spot the sucker at the table within 5 minutes of sitting down, you're it."
"I asked it "How many kids will we have, how old will we be when we have kids?" IT answered "2, and then 18". I got pregnant at 18."
Self-fulfilling prophecy with an occult excuse. How clever.
"I just want to let you know that it's scary, and my mom had one and said that she kept throwing it away and it kept coming back."
Seems everyone's mother/brother/father/sister/uncle/aunt/cousin twice removed/etc had an Ouija board they "threw out and it kept coming back." It's called an urban legend moron.
"Be wary, I always thought they were just a joke, but not in my experience!"
I think you're a joke and thus far that's been my experience.
"If you've ever seen the exorcist, you'll know that there's evil out there."
I believe I just pointed out the other day to some other nutball that the Exorcist was not a documentary.
"That was a true story, and it happened to many people already."
As far as I'm aware it's "true" in the sense that an exorcism was performed. It's fiction in that damned near everything about the story from that point on is a fabrication. The subject was a boy and, if I recall correctly, the only "supernatural" display was his odd behavior and perhaps a chill in the room. No levitation, no head spinning, no demonic visage. Nothing. Nada.
"If you have faith and believe in God, have ebay refund your money and let the person keep it."
Aren't you a little old to be afraid of ghosts and goblins?
"You never know if they opened a portal or something."
Actually I do know that they didn't. I know that because I'm well grounded in reality where such things don't happen.
"You don't want the karma and bad energy that's associated with someone else's board. Good luck. God bless."
Isn't Karma one of those icky pagan/occult things that people like you are always harping on about?
