Anyway, the point of all this is to say that I feel that time has just lately begun to move faster, so to speak. I could never attempt to set a date for the Rapture, but man, I all of a sudden felt my normal sense of urgency become significantly more urgent! And with this heightened sense of urgency has come a feeling of calm like I have never felt before. Does this make sense to any of you? Are you feeling it too? Do you feel even more surprised that you're still here? Do you feel sad, urgent, happy and calm all at the same time?

Yes, it makes perfect sense to me. But then, I'm a severe and rapid-cycling Bipolar patient. What you're describing sounds an awful lot like the beginning of a high manic phase laced with massive attacks of paranoia. My advice to you is that you seek out a qualified medical professional and describe your symptoms before either you or people near to you get hurt.
This isn't sarcasm or abuse on my part, "JY11". I sincerely believe you may need to talk to a doctor before it's too late.
Holy crap.
I totally know what happened to you, man.
That happened to my dad when the pharmacist confused his heart meds with some sort of stimulant and he went into a weird psychotic state (happy, sad, happy, unusually calm, anxious, worried, happy, really sad, murderously angry). The whole time he couldn't sit still for a damn minute.
I'd trade in your prescription for Rapture for Risperdal, or maybe Abilify, or possibly Seroquel. And set the date for checking into a psychiatrist before you check out, buddy.
Well, yeah, now that you mention it - I am SO surprised we're all still here - I mean it IS Friday the 13th of June and that guy in Texas promised us a nukular holocaust yesterday, wtf happened to that deal? I wanted at least to watch it on TV today - crap.
I almost feel sorry for these nuts - a whole "support group" talking each other into something. The Bible is completely unclear about this "rapture" stuff, so there are numerous versions of it floating around. The saddest part is it's pretty apparent that these folks have basically bought into the Tim LaHaye "Left Behind" version - so they're not even getting this nonsense from their religion - they're getting it from a bunch of fiction books. They're like the loonies who get obsessed about the Da Vinci Code.
He is definitely smarter than these doom prophets who say "the world wll end at xx..yy.zz, aa:bb:cc o´clock.
Instead he just says "I feel it becoming more urgent", so, when the rapture doesn´t come anytime soon he can just keep saying "it is getting more urgent" :D

If I only read this part, I'd have assumed he was talking about committing suicide... interesting.

I prescribe Diocalm tablets, then industrial strength Ex-Lax, sennapods, prune juice, Guinness and Slippery Elm, followed by a good hard shag to clear the custard, loosen the braces & stiffen the socks.
You'll feel much better afterwards. And generally calmer & chilled out.

A psychology major could base their entire career (and many papers & doctoral theses) just on Ruptured Retards' members and analysing what they say therein.
The time does seem to move faster the older you get. It's just logic, really; when you are seven years old, one year is a seventh of your life, but when you're 30 years old, one year is just one thirtieth of your life.
I hope you haven't felt urgency for almost two years with no pause? If you have, you must have horrendous ulcers. Or maybe that feeling of calm has prevented those?
I must say I'm not the least bit surprised that I'm still here. As the life expectancy rate for women is around 83-84 years here, I have about 42 years left.
Confused?
