this life right now is worthless compared to what afterlife will be. this life is really nothing at all. everything i do in this life will effect how God will judge me. Worshiping should be the MAIN thing i should do in my life because i learn more about God and become closer to him. It's very important that worshiping is a BIG part of my life. I should do it whenever i can. But do i? no, because im not perfect. i find myself caught doing things of this world other than becoming closer to God. but i do try.

Riiiight. Spend every waking moment of this life in worship in order to ensure spending eternity in worship. Sounds like a plan to me. (A horrible, ridiculously stupid plan but a plan, nonetheless.)
everything i do in this life will effect how God will judge me.
What happened to Ephesians 2:8-9: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: (it is) the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Worshiping should be the MAIN thing i should do in my life
What happened to Matthew 6:7-8: But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
You're not trying hard enough, because, frankly, the best way to get closer to your god in the afterlife is to die.
If your God is perfect and all good, why would he subject you to a worthless life?
Why worship an omnipotent God whose solution to his own special creations, the creations of that perfect God, becoming corrupt was to drown almost everything?
this life right now is worthless compared to what afterlife will be.
I suspect this is the reason conservatism and religion have generally tended to gravitate towards each other - people are far less likely to bring about troublesome change from the status quo or risk toppling the social order if they're encouraged to think this existence is so worthless that there would be no point improving it, or that it's so far gone as to be impossible to improve at all.
This is bad.
This is precisely the type of person that is recruited by suicide bombers.
Sure of their faith, think that it will be wonderful in heaven and (hinks this life is worthless.
but i do try.
I find you trying.
"i find myself caught doing things of this world other than becoming closer to God."
If you'd lock the bathroom door, they wouldn't catch you doing that.
I don't understand this line of thought. If the Christian heaven lasts for eternity and life on Earth for only, say, 85 years, then life on Earth should be infinitely MORE precious than life in heaven. After all, you only get one chance at life on Earth, and after that your Earthly role is over. Why would someone want to throw that away? Better yet, why would GOD want someone to throw something like that away by feeding His ego all the time?
So sad, Teen. You have no experience of life and you have been brainwashed to the point that when realisation of it does dawn on you (assuming your mind is not toally destroyed) you will blush for shame.
Please show me evidence - I mean hard evidence - for an afterlife! Bible Quotes, and pastor's preaching don't count in the real world outside your fundie coccoon.
Study hard, join the astronaut corps, and go to heaven early. The only problem is, no-ones seen Him up there yet :(
Now God is telling me he wants everyone to put a dollar in the box, just come up and put a dollar in the box.
Eric Cartman is that you?
Confused?
