fundie fiiight...
You've got to love the mindless, thoughtless, laughably factless idea that Catholics teach something that varies terribly from stock Christian theology. They just won't give up on it! A testament to how effective they are at brainwashing one another.
Of course, by "love", I mean "hate, and by everything that I have written up above, I actually mean "F*&# you, saved by grace, and the high horse of abject stupidity you rode in on".
If any of you are not banned from RR? Please post this message. Tim and I would be grateful.
"Fuck you.
DIAF.
STFU.
DIAF again.
He was a professional journalist and your opinion about his spiritual well-being don't mean squat.
Fuck you again and STFU again while you're at it.
Tim was a classmate of mine; a good friend and a good Christian without being the slightest bit "fundy". He was a logical, evolved, example of humanity. Warts included.
Please accept my kind invitation to shove your self-righteous opinion up your ass with a red-hot poker."

Oh here we go! "I heard Tim was Catholic! Do you...I hate to say it, but do you think he may be burning in hell right now? Oh I hope not, that poor deluded man! *fake sob*" You guys are full of shit, why don't YOU go to hell, bitch.
I am astonished,
doesn´t sophie know that catholics use a false bible?
She should have prayed foremost, that Tim would please exchange his bible for a KJV
;)
Allow me to assure you that the widowed Mrs. Russert appreciates you taking the time to sincerely question her dead husband's deeply personal faith.

Good point Eden. This poster acts like it's only Catholics and Anglicans and such that are not Christians. When actually ONLY those who worship (using) the KJV are Christians. Actually, it's likely a subset of those KJV-fetishists (sp?), who are personal acquaintances of sophie, that are Christians. And you might need a green card as well. Maybe Sophie can picket Tim's funeral or something.
(At this point, I'm somewhat blase about the wretched behaviour of religious people around times of grief and death, the way they act like vultures trying to use the incident to increase their church's membership, the way they totally presume to know the eternal fate of someone else).
Fundies must be seriously threatened by Catholicism. Otherwise, why would they waste so much energy putting it down; you all believe in Jesus, right? What else does one need?
Arrogant asshats; all of 'em.
Praying after the fact-- fail.
Please, PLEASE LAWD! LET HISTORY HAVE BEEN POSSIBLY SUCH AS IT POSSIBLY WAS NOT!
Foolish prayer. But, hey, whatever, we've seen worse from the sheep Rapture Ready.
As an avid Rapture Ready reader, I have a game I play with myself anytime anyone dies. "How Many Posts Before The Pray That He Was A Christian?"
Try it. It's sad and fun at the same time.
Here's another sweet quote from that thread:
"I am so sick of hearing about this. I don't care what kind of reporter/news guy he was or wasn't. All this news coverage over his death is not neccessary. I feel bad for his family. My only thought came to mind when I heard people praising him, was okay what about his relationship with GOD.
I am not trying to judge, but when they say all that he was involoved in and all the things that were important to him. GOD is never mentioned."
HI Sophie. It appears that you know very little abouth the Catholic church other than the hate spewed by your fundie friend in the name of Christian charity. Hypocrisy.
If there is a god, then it is his will, not yours, that will be done.
Please die an extremely painful death, you fucking asshole. A fantastic journalist has died who had a great passion for politics, as well as his family life, and all you care about is his fucking religion. You're a sick fuck, now go die in a fire.
