Likewise, mathematics' purpose is not missile programming either. It would be like blaming Jesus for the holocaust because Hitler was Christian. Jesus' intent was never the extermination of non Aryan people. he wasn't even Aryan himself.

Social Darwinism led to biological knowledge advance. A leap, even. Still took over 100 years to really be applied.
The Holocaust was religious idealogy taken to its agenda. Christians thought the Jews killed Jesus, because the church taught them that, because the Catholic church wanted the whole religion game. It was a mandate to whipe the others out.
Math is a scientific tool, the Nuclear bomb is an extention of the knife, the sword, the spear, the gun, the cannon, the missle, the atomic and nuclear bomb. Christians have used them all. All the others? Not so much
