See, this is why, even though my ranking of candidates was Edwards, Clinton, Obama (although I do still like Obama very much), I wouldn't want Clinton anywhere NEAR the vice-presidency.
There's a metric fuckload of gun-toting racist whackjobs in this country, and some of them will at least make plans to violently reject having an OMG SCAWWY Black Man in power over them. If they succeeded, the only thing that would make the shit hitting the fan after that horrible event worse is if Clinton came into power through it, and appeared to gain from Obama's death. Again, not that I think she'd have planned it in a million years, but there's enough of this "murderess" meme going around to destroy confidence in her in much of the citizenry, making the unrest worse. Gyah...
