Quote# 412

I believe the scientific evidence points to a young earth. I've been studying geology for nearly 20 years. At first I was an old earther and couldn't understand how anyone could say the earth was less than 10,000 years old. The longer I studied the evidence the more I was swayed over to the young earth side.

Was there any religious propaganda used in this conversion perhaps?

I live in the desert. For 20 years I've watched the sand and hills around here and there's been no noticeable difference in the land in all that time. Proof of no geology!!!11!1!
Also no animal or lizard has "evolved". I've been watching them.
Old Earth? Pfffft

;-)

I believe the scientific evidence points to your pants.

The scientific evidence being all that smoke. And where there's smoke...

I'm gonna say this real slow. Try to follow along.

Scientific evidence.
Has nothing to do with your.
Or anyone else's.
BELIEF.

That's why it isn't religion. That's why you can't just claim to have studied geology for twenty years without having the least grasp of what geology really is or what it has really found evidence for. That is why we point and laugh.

20 years as a well digger, eh? Well, well, well. [ :) ]
I don't think that makes you a Geologist.

Also, please cite the evidence that shows the earth is as you say, Joel, else STFU you ass!

Multiple rock layers with mudcracks, wave marks, and raindrop marks in the middle of the geologic column, indicating that different strata were exposed to dry air at different times.

Another liar for jesus, you gotta wonder where all those respected scientists who see the inherent wisdom in YEC and the homosexuals and athiests who give up their sinful lifestyles to become mindless fundies are in the real world, where you actually have to back shit like this up.

I believe the scientific evidence points to a young earth.

And which "scientific evidence" is that? The one in the Bible? Yeah, I thought so.

I've been studying geology for nearly 20 years.

Considering the sole conclusion that you derived from that time, I unfortunately cannot say those were 20 years well spent.

At first I was an old earther and couldn't understand how anyone could say the earth was less than 10,000 years old.

Translation: They said something about this Urth when I was at school, but on account of my A.D.D. (further complicated by my rather low I.Q.) I only picked up trivial bits and pieces of the actual information, and when a bunch of cons fed me a bunch of hoo-ha with big words like asbolution and redemshun and told me the only way I can be in havon is by believing Urth is 10,000 years old, errr, so ahh, yeah, hallybooyah!!!

The longer I studied the evidence the more I was swayed over to the young earth side.

Still waiting for you to present this "evidence",... still waiting,...

It's only the YECers who say that they have respected scientists on their side. They don't seem to realise that "Theology" "Brainwashing" and "Blind Faith" are not scientific degrees.
