[about Obama]
Wow....just wow.
This man could come out and openly admit that he was muslim...was a murderer, or anything else sinister, and the left would STILL want him as president.
At this point, I don't think it would matter. He is just "too charasmatic", and the American "left" is too far gone, and too evil to look at it differently.

Obama admits to using cocaine, marijuana, and drinking heavily. Imagine if John McCain did the same. It is just amusing how the same rules don't apply to both sides of the aisle. What if McCain had written a book about how evil black people were (like Obama did with white people)? It is interesting to see the zombies following Obama like he is their savior. It is also sad to see that this is the best the democrat party could come up with.
You mean he could admit he was black, you racist fuck.PS Nothing is more sinister than a war-dodging chickenhawk war-profiteer, selling out his country to an Arab country that attacked his on 9/11 for profit, killing off American soldiers and Iraqi civilians so that his high-dollar buddies could make a monetary killing, giving welfare to the rich, killing the middle class with inflation and obscene profits for his big-oil buddies and lying to start his war for profit. Our current Presidunce is a greedy lying creep and a self-proclaimed FUNDIE.
After what the Republicans have been consistently doing to America for the last 30 years or so, frankly, yes, I would still vote for Obama if he were Muslim. At least he seems interested in doing things according to rule of Constitutional law, which is a lot more than can be said of Bush II -- or, come to that, for most Republican presidents in my lifetime. His religion is of no importance as long as he plays be the rules, something Republicans just don't seem inclined to do.

He's not Muslim. But if he were, I'd still have no problem voting for him.

Are you on drugs?

Obama just has common sense. Unlike you.

People are really pissed off at the current administration. Could a Muslim murderer really be any worse?
What do you care? You're fucking off to heaven in 2012 anyway.
Or, do you not trust the bible, heathen?

Well, let me see, the current occupant of the White House was an admitted abuser of alcohol and very possibly did cocaine in his youth. Sounds like Obama is at least as qualified.
"This man could come out and openly admit that he was muslim...was a murderer, or anything else sinister, and the left would STILL want him as president."
I'd vote Hannibal Lecter into office if it would get that moron that's in there now out.

Go do something useful like stare into the sky and wait for Jebus to Rapture your ass.
Ugggh...what the hell has Obama done wrong for us to be as horrified with him as you reactionaries seem to be? Everything that people have been freaked about (aside from questions of his experience) have been tangential concerns that are simply excuses for people who were already opposed to voting for a black man to sound like they have almost concrete reasons for not doing so. But, I'm afraid that Obama having a preacher who said something about America bringing 9/11 on itself, and being run by white people doesn't count as a good reason. I'm afraid that saying that Obama may be Muslim because the father who left his household when Obama was 2 years old was Muslim isn't a good reason. It all reeks of bigotted fear; being afraid of him being a secret Muslim (as if having a Muslim president is that terrible), being afraid that he is secretly radical, and racist against white people (lol).
When it comes down to it, he is just liberal and black, and people who hate him for those reasons are just grasping at straws to come up with other reasons to oppose him. It is very sad...even sadder when otherwise undecided people buy into this crock...
Really, most of the Left just thinks Obama's another centrist corporate douche.
@BannedChick:
Of course, it's not like you actually read Obama's depressingly conciliatory book.
You're afraid he's a religious fanatic and a murderer?
Well, if you invade a country without just cause, and people die, what do you call that? Oh, right, murder. Dumbass.
As for religion? Oh, the mirror is shiny.
Muslim? OK. His actions are more important than what his faith happens to be. And we don't see American Muslims kicking up a fuss about having an openly Christian president.
Murderer? He'd be disqualified. End of story.
American Left is evil? Personally I'd go for "the bastion of common sense", but then I'm a crazy liberal Britkid.
Professor M....Ohhhhhh so you have to read a book to comment on it? That would mean that 100% of the people on this site are hypocrites since I am sure none of them would ever pick up a Bible to read.

The difference is that there were RUMORS that Bush did coke. Obama openly admits to doing coke and more in a book.
Imagine if you will McCain making the same statements. Then imagine McCain writing a book titled...
"Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance" The liberals in this nation would crap their pants and burn him at the stake.
@Banned Chick:
You lose your bet.
Not only have I read the Bible from cover to cover more than once, I have participated in numerous biblical study groups led by my pastor.
Reading the Bible, along with Bishop John Shelby Spong's books, are some of the things that lead me into becoming an atheist.
Good thing you didn't put any money on that bet.
you and your kind should be wiped from the population on the basis that you think being of a different religion is on par with being a murderer. You're clearly a danger to society.
@Banned Chick: Bush was arrested on multiple occasions, was an alcoholic, managed to run several lucrative businesses into the ground, joined the Air National Guard to avoid the draft and then went AWOL from that, and you guys still voted for him.
I don't have nearly as much animosity toward McCain, Hell, I'm sure the country would be in better standing had Bush not slandered him in the 2,000 election. Republicans bought into the magnificent onslaught of lies and voted for Bush and then 8 years later completely forgot the utter bullshit they previously bought into. Don't you remember? John McCain's the guy with an illegitimate black baby who is also a homosexual and has suffered severe psychological trauma due to his time as a POW in Vietnam.
OK, I was raised Lutheran and went to church and all this, sunday school, confirmation and all that ....
So much about my qualifications to comment on this site! Thank you!
To the subject: There is a separation of state and religion in this country, right? So, it really doesn't matter if the president is muslim, christian, pagan, or whorships a steaming pile of poop (though, this would make me question the mental state)
@BannedChick: In high school my form tutor was an RS teacher; I read the Bible because it was the only thing in the classroom that wasn't a textbook, and only sixth-formers were allowed to bring iPods to school. Anyhow, I don't see what that has to do with the price of fish, since I don't come here to criticise the Bible. I believe everyone's entitled to their own faith if that faith harms no-one. What I attack is modern people's strange opinions.
The idiot prince of Bush illustrates one of the reasons US independence was sought: hereditary privilege. He'd be a jailbird in Texas to this day without his daddy's clout. He deserted from the TANG because the flight physical he was due for, would have revealed the drugs in his system. It was his daddy's machine that engineered the 2000 and '04 elections, and they instituted the corporate model of governance in total disregard for the Constitution. The president is simply a hood ornament, and the corporate directors are simply directing the flow of money -- to the Carlisle Group -- totally oblivious to the real needs of the nation. New Orleans, post-Katrina, was simply a write-off that wouldn't go away. The Texas-Iraq War was the most serious mistake in modern US history. Shit, in terms of world stability, the idiot prince is a spoiled brat who fancies himself the big cheese of the schoolyard.
As for Obama's alleged self-admitted drug use, the difference between him and Baboon Boy is that Obama is being honest and open. I'm all for honesty and openness in our government.
That's what I think.
At this point, I don't think it would matter. He is just "too charasmatic", and the American "left" is too far gone, and too evil to look at it differently.
Okay...your current wet dream leader is a murderer, liar, borderline fascist. He could whip up a baby sandwich tonight on public TV, and if he could run another term, you'd still vote him in, lock step.
It's funny how only the fundies care about his race....
Yet still, lumping the Muslims with murederes? Im gonna laugh my Atheistic ass of if he gets elected.
How do you like your second term of President Obama, RR?
Oh, that's right, your heads mass asploded! We have many, many quotes on this site to prove it!
