They [atheists] do not have anything to discuss because they all beleive in the same thing. Unlike christians who all have a different beleif in their beleifs. (if that makes since)

Now what does THAT tell you, dumbass?
Also, not all atheists share the same beliefs. Double dumbass.
Yeah, God is infallibe, yet you are all not quite sure what He's saying. Funny, that.
Also, atheists differ on political issues.
For example, I see the need for sweeping reform in almost every aspect of US government, yet also am pessimistic enough to move to Canada and conclude that the US is too screwed up for me to try helping it.
@ anonymous_troy ~ Don't Bother, Canada's just as screwed up. In fact almost everything here (including our natural resources) are owned by US companies.
Thank the Republican backed Conservative party for that one.
No that doesn't. There are atheists who believe in ghosts. There are atheists who don't. There are liberal atheists. There are conservative atheists. There are libertarian atheists. There are anarcho-capitalist atheists. There are atheists who believe in evolution. There are atheists who believe aliens brought life to Earth. No two atheists will every have the exact same beliefs, except that they lack a belief in deities.
Then again, Christians are kind of like this too.
1st line, wrong
2nd line, true, but counter to most arguments.
At least he sorta answered the question.
@Lefty Link
You could always try Australia...if you could stand Vegemite.
No, it does not make since. It might make a rinse, if you purple monkey wop nop.
What? It's just as coherent as Desolater's 'answer'.
You're allowed have variation in Christian belief? That'd be pretty fucking unprecedented for fundies?
Oh wait, nevermind, you're just talking shite.
"Unlike christians who all have a different beleif in their beleifs. (if that makes since)"
No. It does not make "since". In fact, it's so non"since"ical I want to cry.
"They [atheists] do not have anything to discuss because they all beleive in the same thing. Unlike christians who all have a different beleif in their beleifs. (if that makes since)"
Uh, shouldn't it be you guys who have the unified view on things? Leave it to Christianity to get something totally ass backwards.
Actually, it's kinda true. Atheists don't have any evidence for a god, so they don't bother believing in one. Boom, done. Now that that's out of the way, we can get past it into more interesting terrain:
Star Wars or Star Trek?
Firely or Farscape?
Boxers of Briefs?
First, atheists have such a wild spectrum in how strongly they believe...especially since I'm sure this guy lumps agnostics in there, too. Second, no it doesn't make sense. Each sect is under the umbrella of Christianity (Which is covered by two or three umbrellas itself...) each sect ADAMANT that they know the true way, and all others are wrong (In varying degrees...Unitarians, from what I understand, take an agree to disagrees stance, to some of the backwater churches that feel that their congregation is the only ones that will actually even see the pearly gates, let alone actually get into heaven.)
You obviously have a crisis of faith on your hands, Deso. You can't spell "belief".
I believe it's about time for a beer. Other atheists may believe otherwise, but that's OK with me.
For all you Americans thinking that Canada is a bit more sane, it isn't. We do not have a church and state separation clause in our constitution. We have lots of nut job fundies but maybe a few less than what is in the United States. I have my regular Jehovah Witness visitors whom I love very much. They have been coming to my house for 20 years now. We have Mormons, Lutherans, Baptists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals and all the other sects of Christianity. We have Muslims, Seiks, Hindus, and every other wacky religion man has ever thought of. And we even have the Church of Scientology, the wackiest of them all.
Sure, christians have all sorts of different beliefs, it's just that once they start discussing them, people will soon be burning at stakes.
Since when is religion the only valid topic for a discussion? We have varied and interesting lives outside the Church to discuss.
Oh, and it's not either atheist or Christian, there are other variables. I have a close friend who's Muslim. Discussing with her is very interesting. Even though I don't really believe in Christ, I can still discuss the topic of Christianity versus Islam. (Not "which is the true faith" - we both respect each other - but just finding differences and similarities.)
Atheist: Doesn't believe in God(s)
The word defines the disbelief in God(s)so we all disbelieve in God(s). That's it, no dogma, no ritual, no common alternative to God.
Whereas Theists, which you, and all other religions are have differing ritual and dogma, which has of course only led to super good stuff (sarc)
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
