[Question: How many people here honestly believe god planted dinosaur bones to trick us (or test our faith, if you will)?]
I believe god made us curious and therefore realized we'd look back so he put things like the dinosaurs for us to find. Kinda like a test to weed out all the skeptics

Once again, the "God is a lying bastard" explanation.
If I were God, I'd be offended!
Of course! That must be it! And also when god created the universe, light from distant stars was already on the way!
*sigh*
How do you counter arguments like this? It is like there's no intelligence there! Oh, I see. Never mind.
I always thought god loves us and wants so many as possible in heaven.
Planting false evidence of the contrary (i.e. evolution) seems to be a little contraproductive for this.
Either god doesn´t love us so much as people always say or you just made this up ;)
If your deity has such a problem with skeptics he shouldn't have created them.
You fucking morons always say that your god gave us free will, so why the fuck does he punish people when they exercise that same free will.
It all leads to one logical conclusion:
If your god operates by your rules then he is is a sadistic egocentric asshole who we will never be able to please, except by docile compliance, thereby wasting our brains, which according to you he equipped us with.
But as your god doesn't exist, I conclude that the people who dreamt him up where sadistic egocentric assholes, who needed to control the ignorant masses.
And that's why your god, according to those people, hates skeptics .... as skeptics are a threat to that total control.
well... ... these aren't the dark ages anymore, and I'm not living in Iran, so, you may have deactivated your brain, but I refuse to deactivate mine.
"I believe god made us curious and therefore realized... "
"Realized?" He's fucking OMNICIENT! (that means "all-knowing," for you knowledge-impaired fundie-types)
It is, by definition, IMPOSSIBLE to "realize" anything when you already--again by definition--KNOW EVERYTHING THAT WAS, IS or WILL BE.
If God put fossils in the ground of creatures that never really existed, then he is a deceiver and a liar. But wait, isn't SATAN supposed to be the great deceiver? I was taught that it was Satan who put the fossils there to fool everyone into believing the Earth is really old! Hey, maybe God and Satan are the same being. This would explain Isaiah 45:7 "I make peace, and create evil; I, the Lord, do all these things."
You know, any good lawyer would call that "entrapment"...
No, seriously; he makes us naturally curious and logical, gives us evidence to prove the Bible wrong, and then punishes us for not believing in him? What a jackass.
So yes, God put those fossils there purposely to trick people into doubting Him and therefor being cast into hell forever.
Honestly, don't you guys ever think about this stuff?
Their desperation to plug the holes is almost saddening,,,,,,,, almost.
WRONG
An omniscient God would not need to test humans. If needs to test humans, then he must've not known what they were gonna do as a result of his test; ergo "He" is not God.
Omniscience makes the whole damned concept of testing completely out of line. God doesn't test, if God is God.
Confused?
