Hm, okay, I will ask some of the many sane, intelligent and non fundamentalist christians here in germany about it.
But I am absolutely sure that all of them will answer me that the bible shouldn´t be taken literal and that, of course, scientific explanations like the big bang should be taken more serious than biblical accounts of creation ;)

No one actually says that the big bang 'created' everything. It was a major event that caused the universe to begin expanding rapidly, leaving behind background radiation, etc. to indicate that it happened between 13 and 14 billion years ago. No scientist worth his weight will tell you he knows exactly how and why it happened, nor with he try to claim that it was this event that definitely created energy and matter.
For all we know, there could be a continuous series of big bangs and crunches, happening over an infinite amount of time, each 'bang' imposing a different set of variables onto the universe each time, with only the viable sets existing for any longer than a microsecond before collapsing back in on itself. This would certainly account for why the universe is so 'perfect' right now, given the nature of infinity.
The only thing we DO know is that it happened, it had a major impact on the universe (particularly the introduction of time) as we see it today, and there's a hell of a lot more evidence for it than there is, or ever will be, of the sky fairy.
