Really? Who was it that, according to your mythology, got Eve to eat the apple which gave all human kind knowledge of good and evil? Who was it who didn't lie to her when he told her she would "surely not die" and that her knowledge would be "lifted up" if she ate the apple? Now, who was it that told her she would die if she ate the apple? Who put the tree in the garden in the first place, with all the foresight that omniscience allows, and then acted upset when Eve did just what he knew she'd do to begin with? Aside from that, placing the tree in the garden with a couple of simpletons when the tree had the power to be the bane of all human existence is akin to placing a loaded gun in the room with an unsupervised toddler.
Sounds to me like Satan is an ok guy. He wanted humans to have knowledge and didn't lie to Eve like someone else I could mention.

Have you read your Bible? You know, the entire first fucking half where god curses, destroys, kills, orders genocide and is generally the biggest asshole tyrant to ever be described anywhere in literature?
And what about Satan? Let's see, off the top of my head he rebels against god (sounds like he's got more sense than your Christians), tempts Eve to eat the apple (which is covered above), torments Job (with god's explicit approval, which he had to ask for to begin with) and tempts Jesus a few times. Oooh. What a mean guy Satan is.

Then don't participate. Satan probably wont hold it against you. He seems like a reasonable guy after all, unlike your god who will condemn you to hell to be tormented for all eternity simply because you didn't think he existed because he failed to show himself.
