Oh I don't know, could it be that God was very careful in cheking the specifics of his newly bought "humanity kit", and chose the planet carefully (then he just added water)..

That is like asking why a circle is round, or why a square is... square....
He should ask himself this, if human kind had 4 arms, one leg, 6 eyes and a tail. Wouldn't that be considered the shape of man.
