Truth? Heh. You are also blinded to the truth that is Brahma. We are all fools here ;)
"They engage in revisionist history by calling religion the 'Root of all Evil' while the religion of atheism is the greatest killer ion the world. (accept it- the US Supreme court ruled it a religion)"
The irony of this statement...it burns...it truly does...
"Hitler hated Christianity and is quoted as so. He used the Catholic church as a propaganda tool - yet Atheist try to paint him as a Christian."
He did hate Christianity: because it was too entrenched in pagan practices, and was too filled with wishy washy sentiment, whereas he wanted to focus on doctrine that supported militarism and removed extraneous traditions. Of course, he still believe in Jesus, was still Christian, but felt that the general masses of Christianity were too weak to serve his purposes (an idealism that suggests a positive view of Christianity, ironically).
"LOL No such luck with Stalin and Mao who killed even more... so then starts the fallacy of special pleading... Christians kill 'in the name of' Christianity but for some mysterious reason it is impossible to kill 'in he name of' Atheism. What a joke."
Sorry, but "Christian" and "atheist" are just not on equal levels in regards to descriptive power. The ideology contained within the label "Christian", accepting Jesus, the existence of God, and lending credence to the Bible, is far beyond the scope of simply lacking religion or faith. Using a person who happens to be either atheist or Christian does not necessarily imply that being atheist or Christian had an equal amount of influence on their thought processes and personal philosophy. If that seems unfair, well...again, I apologize.
"They complain about the inquisition which happened centuries ago while atheists are still killing today in N. Korea. Atheism is the most murderous ideology in all of history"
Funny how all these atheists just happen to be Communists, isn't it? But, it must be atheism itself that is the problem, not communism, right? Of course, unlike the alleged crimes of the atheist, the crimes of Christian faithful transcend political ideologies, nation, and era. Of course, we are best off moving past such petty attempts at scoring points through comparing relative death tolls, since it proves nothing about the legitimacy of religious/non-religious ideas themselves.
