Quote# 41948

(So when the Discovery Institute talks about an Intelligent Designer, it really does mean God?)

In the same manner as when the National Center for Selling Evolution (NCSE) talks about the theory of evolution they mean that God is a superstitious fantasy and living things are really all just purposeless bags of chemicals - assembled by cosmic accident.

I hope that clears things up for you.

Evolution is an established scientific theory, and all the evidence points toward it. It doesn't matter faith-based beliefs certain people may or may not hold, that evolution is or is not consistent with. It's science. On the other hand, Intelligent Design has been conclusively shown to be a blatant front for creationism. "Cdesign proponentsists", anyone?

Oh, and the fundies' habit of "wittily" recasting acronyms to suit their own delusions about supporters of science is really starting to irk me.

You got that wrong, buddy. It's the National Center for Intelligent Design, as that is a very American phenomenon.
Evolution is accepted as fact all around the world.
Religion and gods are neither needed nor impossible, regarding Evolution.

Evolution is not about how life got started, but how living things adapt to a changing environment.

No, things just got even more muddy after your "explanation".

Quantum Mechanic

When you're wrong about basic concepts and agendas all the time you can't pull off sarcasm, give it up.
Next time someone asks you a simple question don't be so evasive, just answer it. You ID idiots took this ID (other name for Christian God) to court in the Dover Case and lost bad, and that was your best, most practiced and recognized bullshitters.

All your best arguments failed to be anything but imagined claims, you might as well go back saying God instead of ID, everyone knows now. So much for another ill-concieved step of the Wedge Document.
