Dear hypothesis. This is horrible.
I 3rd Dumbass of the Decade. Then again, maybe it should be Century, or even Millennium.
I fear for our future.
@Vael: I decided to stop at the decade because, given that this century is capable of producing such monstrous stupidity in only its third year, chances are it will go on to produce something that tops even this in the other ninety-seven. We just haven't got the chance to see it yet.
It's sort of like a Lovecraft story with the monstrosity replaced by sheer stupidity: We have seen the painting in its full perverted glory, but I suspect that we have yet to discover the photograph.
Whatever you do, don't look down at your tower, at your monitor, or even use the microwave for anything.
He uses the scientific method... to criticize science...which uses the scientific method...and he accuse science of not living up to the standards of the scientific method...and...and...
Oh god it hurts just to write this!
You lose, not just for the post, but for having a screenname that is the WORST pun in the history of mankind, bar none.
"Science has no basis in fact"
As per 'Darth Sidious' here , you haven't really thought this one through, have you?
Those flip-open communicators in "Star Trek": the Motorola StarTac mobile phone. Also, 'PADDs': iPads & Android tablets.
Science Fiction has a rather nasty habit of becoming Science Fact .
...but I guess you've never been aware of that scenario, seeing as you're on a "Star Wars" forum. "Babylon 5" will come as a real shock to you, then. 'Death Star vs. Borg Cube'? Shadowships .
Confused?
