Quote# 42063

The interesting point will be when Israel is forced to appeal to Jesus whom they deny. By then their military will be removed from power. Unlike the nightime thief, most will slumber and loose their wealth but for those who prize Jesus' return the wealth of this life means nothing, having put their faith in him and daily look for his coming.

Yet another Jesufile.

It doesn't mean anything.

Yes, fine, whatever.

"The interesting point will be when Israel is forced to appeal to Jesus whom they deny. By then their military will be removed from power."

Yes, because we all know that the military forces can keep god at bay.

7/1/2008 9:56:19 AM

@ the Jamo: Well, the military has a lot of iron vehicles, and apparantly, iron is God's kryptonite. Makes you wonder why he created the stuff.

Sheik yer Bouti

It is so much fun to do things iike this:

An intesting point is that christians will forced to appeal to the messiah after having whored after strange gods and changing scripture when the torah specificallys says that you shold not add or delete from the law.

All the jews that have kept the law will enjoy the peace that the messiah shall bring when he builds the third temple.

Wait, wasn't Israel on the good side in the Battle of Armageddon?

7/1/2008 10:23:08 AM

Awww iddums boo! You are upset that Israelis consider Jesus a rabbi, a teacher, not the messiah. Go pout somewhere else, okbye!

Quantum Mechanic

Almost as stupid as a Moslem.

7/1/2008 10:48:43 AM

Mister Spak

The interesting point is what will you do in 30 years when none of this has happened yet?

7/1/2008 11:00:52 AM

Umm Jesus != the Jewish Messiah (far from it in fact).

7/1/2008 11:34:26 AM

wait......do they have iron chariots?

could be a problem of they do!

7/1/2008 12:20:12 PM

Then how come all your leaders (Robertson, Hagee, Dollar, Meyers, Dobson, Van Impe, etc.,) are worth a gajillion dollars?

7/1/2008 1:16:14 PM

Blayze Kohime

"those who prize Jesus' return the wealth of this life means nothing"

That is just what your leaders tell you so that you will fund their palaces, fancy cars, and suits that cost more than your education. Haven't you ever taken a good look at the leaders of the Christian church and asked why they are exempt from the rules of being humble and not amassing wealth?

The Fundies have such an interesting veneration/denigration relationship with Israel and Judaism.

Allegory for Jesus

Yes, everyone will accept Jesus when the sky is red with blood, and demons violate living corpses under palm trees formed entirely out of kidneys and skulls. Until then, you are just speculating according to your theology, and it is of no interest to anyone outside of your Christian "Convert EVERYONE" circle jerks, due to having no bearing on reality.

When the skies verily rain soggy potato chips, thou shalt know the end is nigh.

Old Viking

OK, Robert. I'm going to file this one under Miscellaneous.

7/1/2008 8:05:18 PM

Because, as you know, every defeated modern army makes an official plea to Jesus. Ever since Teh Jeez got his international law degree, it's just the smart thing to do. He can usually get you a sweet deal under the conditions of surrender.

7/1/2008 9:59:55 PM

Oops, they have iron chariots. Guess Gods screwed.

7/3/2008 5:45:03 AM

Oh no, the interesting point is where the Midgard Serpent rises, and Odin says 'sacrifice these Christians to Me, there are no warriors fit for Ragnorok here'
