Quote# 42090

(in reply to question : How could a mother enjoy Heaven, knowing that her atheist son will be tortured forever in the fires of Hell? )

"all those in Heaven will be eternally happy and sadness etc will not be felt, and along with this they will no longer be related as they were on earth, as all will be of one family of God and as such will fully realize that those who freely chose to reject God`s love, deserve to be where they are, and will not have any attachment to them whatsoever."

Pardon my immature mind, but that sounds VERY wrong

And we atheists are the sick ones..

Schadenfreude is a godly and acceptable form of happiness, I suppose.

7/1/2008 7:25:42 AM

Is this in the Bible? I did 2 years of Theology and never saw it spelled out as clearly as this. I think someone maybe lying for Jebus.

You will be happy, if you are not happy then you will be used as reactor fuel.

Your Friend, TC.

You could achieve the same kind of 'happiness' with a full lobotomy.

Blue pills for Jesus!

Jesus-induced psychopathy == heaven? Don't these people see the moral implications of this rethoric?

7/1/2008 7:59:29 AM

You sick freak.

"Loving" my ass.

Glad she's not my mom.

They pull these answers out of a hat. When in doubt, make it up. Always an answer: never a thought. Christ they make me sick.

7/1/2008 9:21:00 AM

Sounds awful.

Heaven sounds like a massive brainwashing through drugs to me...

7/1/2008 9:46:51 AM

Mr Smith

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks that. From the description that some christians give heaven, it makes me imagine a big white prison, full of people too stoned to actually do anything except drool at the feet of their master.

The Jamo

Biblical reference, if you please?

7/1/2008 10:09:06 AM

so part of paradise is the process of having your feelings and memories "edited". You are definitely not the same person, but a "Stepford wife" automaton, unable to remember, empathise or mourn for your lost family.

Truly, madly, sickeningly...

7/1/2008 10:24:32 AM

Just another reason why people in heaven are brainwashed sheep while us bound for hell at least can be independant.

Doctor Whom

Life imitates Landover Baptist.

You know, a lot of those people on there have no problem with the idea of having damned loved ones completely erased from their memories forever or God completely erases people's ability to have compassion or care about their 'former' loved ones in hell. The only thing many Christians really give a crap about is their own eternal bliss and are willing to discard everyone else, even their own children. What selfish, disgusting pieces of human waste.

My personal answer (as an Atheist) would be: I wouldn't even step foot in Heaven without my kids. If they aren't allowed in, I wouldn't want to be there ether. I'd rather burn with my children then abandon them to be tormented while I live it up like a scumbag.

God produces Love-Zombies?

Sick mother...

Tell me again comrade, how will distopian authoritarian communism bring us happiness?

"The communist system will make all people happy. Our happiness collar will rewire your emotions. All will be pleasant. All will be good."

7/1/2008 12:21:50 PM

So I guess the Christians lie at funerals when they say they will be reunited with their dead loved ones. This twit is saying they will be one big autonomous collective. No reunions. No regrets. No reality.

7/1/2008 1:07:05 PM

Breaking the familial bond is okay when God does it?
