Let me get this staight - we went to mars in '62, but the moon landings were faked in '69 because we didnt have the technology in oder to do actually go there and get back?
Also, I ddin't knwo Mars had trees and blue skies. Intersting, as there's no atmosphere.

Yes, I saw "Alternative 3" one afternoon in 1977.
For about the first 20 - 30 minutes it looked and sounded real. Then it started mentioning disappearing "famous scientists" that I'd never heard of. I would not say that I'd heard of all the "famous scientists" that were round in 1977 but I hadn't heard of any of the ones they spoke of. The worm of doubt entered my credulous brain.
After about 40 minutes I was laughing.
Fact is the show was supposed to go to air in 1 April 1977 but a labour dispute held it up.
skeetngail is still an April fool. 31 years after the joke he/she still has not got it.

Yes, it's true. The Illuminati wish to escape from Earth before it's detroyed to make an intergalactic bypass in 2012. They would have left sooner, but they only just became aware of the plans. They were in the basement in a disused lavatory behind a sign that warned, "Beware of the Leopard."
