Why are atheists so boring, hypocritical, and evil?
We already know they're Pagans because they worship science and nature (as proven by the fact that some of them capitalize these words) and that they have no morals because they don't believe in God. It's funny to see the large amounts of atheists who repent on their deathbeds: Darwin, Carlin, Huxley, Clarke, Sagan---- (just to name a few), they all repented.They found out the truth. You never hear of Christians repenting. Ever wonder why "born again atheism" isn't a term while "born again Christianity" is? It's because Christians know the truth, and atheists don't. Atheists take Bible verses completely out of context and use that as failed arguments against Christianity. This shows that they aren't as logical as they try to appear. Also, most atheists are evil dictators. Polpot, Stalin, Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il, Mao Tse Tung, they were all atheists. I don't even think they're human, they can't be. No human can be as hypocritical and boring as an atheist.

Any answer that correctly answers the question but that even slightly asserts the fact that there is a God is immediately given 26 thumbs down, meanwhile the idiot atheist who answered the question with something along the lines of "Religion is nothing but fairy tales invented to brainwash and control the masses" gets over 9000 thumbs up.

I've never seen anything written or performed by a fundie Christian that was anything short of brain-hurtingly stupid and boring. The Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the conquering (and subsequent slaughtering) of the South American indians, and countless other evil acts were all done in the NAME of Christianity. The dictators you mentioned did not do their evil in the NAME of atheism; they did it for power.

And as a note, 'I prayed for you' is high on the list of the most douchebaggy things a fundie can do.

In conclusion, you are an idiot.

Wow, so much fail. If fail had gravity go´s posting would collapse into a black hole.

Let me see, it was already stated that go´s comments concerning repenting atheists was wrong.
As wrong as his assertion that there are no born again Atheists (also they wouldn´t call themselves this way).
Quite the contrary, I assume that there are more people who turn from believers into atheists (or at least from fundamentalists to moderate believers or to unitarian universalists).
Darwin is a good example of this. Raised as a christian his decline into atheism began, when he began to really read his holy book (the bible) and first came to the conclusion that the old testament wasn´t any more trustworthy than holy books of other religions.
Then he went to the new testament and found the gospels lacking in trustworthiness as well and finally, aged 40, rejected his christian faith altogether.

I don´t think I have to write much more.
It is still the fundamentalists who are more hypocritical and evil (boring however lies in the eye of the beholder; I can very well envisage that it is boring for fundamentalists to hear about scientific stuff like the ToE and that such fundamentalists prefer much more simple structured reading matrial like, for example, the bible ;) )

As for Aldous Huxley, he felt this way regarding religion:

You must have quite a budget for paint judging by that massively broad brush you're using.

I capitalize science and nature when appropriate but I do not worship them, though I have said often that if you're going to worship something that nature would certainly be worthy of it.

My morals are, if I do say so myself, the best I've ever come across, which is why I hold them. Then again, I'm probably a bit biased seeing as how I've crafted them myself through personal experience, thoughtful contemplation and reflection rather than having them handed to me in a dusty old tome that's so hopelessly out of date as to be comical.

I know for certain that Darwin did no such thing. I seriously doubt Carlin did. I find it extremely unlikely that Clarke or Sagan would have.

For the last fucking time! Atheists don't worship anyone or anything! The word atheist means "without god". That means all gods you ignorant tit!

Your list of people who allegedly "repented" is a bold faced lie.

Christians never repent? You've obviously never attended the death of a Christian. You'll see when it's your turn. You'll probably waste your last precious breaths groveling and begging forgiveness for your sinful ways.

If I, on the other hand, were to meet some sort of celestial judge I will do so with a clear conscience. Because, contrary to popular belief, this atheist has never been tempted to commit your so-called sins. I'm a civilized, rational member of society and am, usually, polite to a fault. I don't steal and I only believe in violence to protect the innocent.

She has testified explicitly that her father never once "repented" or recanted his scientific position. I'm guessing the Huxley that Capt. Fucktard mentions here is Thomas Henry Huxley, "Darwin's Bulldog." Fundies hated him because he clearly, humorously, courageously and constantly demonstrated that they were full of particularly stupid shit.

As for Chuck D. himself, the deathbed-conversion rumor stems from (guess where) a fundie crackpot who took to trying to convert Darwin during his last long illness. Being an infinitely polite man, he didn't throw her out on her ass. A few years after he was dead, she started proclaiming that he'd been "saved" at the last minute - for which there were no other witnesses, and which his relatives(including the Christian ones) unanimously denied.

Why is it that every time a well-known agnostic, atheist, nontheist, skeptic, etc. dies the Christian fundamentalists always claim that they had a sudden death bed conversion? Oooh, let's put words in the mouth of dead people who are dead so they can't correct us! Ugh. What is it, do they find lying about others to be somehow honorable or honest in their bizarro view of the world.

If I ever think I'm about to die, I'm going to yell as loud as I can "I'm still an atheist!" or "I don't believe in any God or gods!" so that no idiot can do this to me. (I'm not famous, so I don't have to really worry as much about random fundies talking about me having a miraculous deathbed conversion. But I am related to fundamentalist Christians and I don't want my relatives spreading this deathbed conversion nonsense about me.)
