Science has such rules. And they're enforced. If a scientist goes and makes shit up and they catch him he's in the unemployment line shortly afterwards. Such things are not tolerated in science. Ergo, evolution must be incredibly well supported given the masses of fucking papers, books, journals and reports that are published yearly.
