I'm not surprised. It seems like this rapture nonsense has developed into a full blown obsession with a lot of you, and it's obviously affecting your well being. Convincing yourself that the world could end at any moment is not a healthy thing for a human mind. I wouldn't be surprised if most of you displayed symptoms of clinical depression, it certainly appears that way from what you've written.
It's just getting older. You tend to be exposed to funny things over time, and, as a consequence, it takes more to make you laugh, since you've already heard better jokes in the past, or variations on the joke you are in the process of hearing.
Or it could just be that you are getting bitter. There's always a chance of that (considering that you spend your hopeless days on a website full of whackjobs pining for the end of the world...).
So much for the love of Jesus Christ brining you happiness and comfort.
Maybe if you nuts weren't so busy paying extra special attention to all the negative crap going on in the world, thinking it's the end times, you wouldn't be so negative. Of course the world is going to seem horrific if you spend all of your time looking for signs of the Armageddon and watching Fox News. Turn off the news, close the paper, and go outside instead of sitting around on the internet, chatting with other nuts who share your problem. You'll be surprised how much your little moods with brighten (assuming that being happy hasn't magically become a sin... in which case, I guess you're fucked).
