Exactly! It doesn't matter what evidence they come up with, I'm never going to change my mind about anything.

I think if God appeared to me, explained why he had to be a douchebag in the Bible, and showed me valid explanations for everything, I might believe in him.
I'm still not sure if I would worship him.
I gotta admit, as much as I believe there is no god, if all of a sudden we had SCIENTIFIC PROOF OF IT, I think I'd become a believer.
He is absolutely right. He will not change his mind about anything, despite evidence. That is why we call people like him stubborn, arrogant, and delusional. At least he will admit that he is, unlike most people....
Unless -- ooh! The evidence supports what you want to believe, right?
But then new evidence illuminates THAT evidence.
Fuck your pick-n-choose attitude towards observation and analysis.
I hate to break it to you guys, but I made that post as a joke. You might notice that my account was banned shortly after I made it, that would be because someone from Rapture Ready spied me talking about it over at Rants 'n Raves. Chalk this one up as more proof for Poe's Law I guess.
hmm..I feel the same way. Even if I had conclusive evidence in front of me that the god of the bible exists, I still would not worship that scum bag..anyone who sits back and watches little children get murdered and raped does not deserve parise..but I would no longer call myself an atheist, of course. I would have to be like a maltheist or something like that.
Mnemonic Device was joking. Yet all he did was precis Watchman's comment:
"I don't care what anyone ever finds anywhere, it changes nothing.
I might wonder how G-d may have brought about something that someone might discover, but I will never doubt that it was G-d Who did it.
That said, G-d says He created the Heavens and the Earth and all they contain, and He declares He put man in the Garden to keep it.
That puts mankind at the center and focus of His creation, and no matter what anyone "finds" it still changes nothing.
G-d said, I believe.
I am content."
So all the prior comments aptly apply to Watchman's words.
Confused?
