I was curious why do you tend to see black people giving their children "African" names like Queefa, Shaqauqua, Trashita, Crayaun, Takeisha, Nakalakareika, etc.?

I was also curious what the status of these names were among the larger black community? Do these "African" names belong to only a minority of the population? Are the people who have those names looked down upon? Don't these parents realize that the hideous name they give their kid will be on the top of every resume/job application they ever send in? Don't they realize no respectable employer is going to hire their kid so they can answer the phone and say, "Hello, thanks for calling Business X, this is 'Vaginita' how can I help you?"
