[response to a thread about San Francisco's Gay Pride Parade]
I just can't wait for the Lord to take back His rainbow from these heathens.

Yes, if light was suddenly and inexplicably rendered unrefractable, that might count toward empirical evidence of the supernatural.
Come back when it happens.
"I just can't wait for the Lord to take back His rainbow from these heathens."
Sure is taking his sweet fucking time, isn't he? Maybe your god is just fine with them using the rainbow as a symbol. Maybe it's jackasses such as yourself that have some worrying to do.
@kingoftheheavies: "When you see a rainbow, it means gawd is having gay sex. "
With his son. And sometimes the Holy Spirit, too, when he's feeling kinky.
And completely off-topic here, but I just had to point it out 'cause I love a good out-of-context quote with excellent timing:

Someone give kingoftheheavies a cookie. He deserves it.

And then the leprechauns can take it back from him. They have gone without rainbows for their pots of gold for too long! Of course, this might piss off the unicorns, but they can just deal.
I saw several church groups - families - marching in our gay pride parade yesterday, and, even though I'm not gay, it brought a tear to my eye.
I'm not gay (more what I've heard called heteroflexible), but it just kind of hit me, how these particular religious people have found a way to overcome the blind, brainwashed intolerance.
But then how will our pets get into heaven?
Yeah, it's sappy, and I hate the poem, but most Christians I know seem to love it

Unlike your 'God', at least a rainbow is something that doesn't actually physically exist, but can be seen. As in an optical illusion.
Unlike a psychological delusion. As in the title of the book by Richard Dawkins.
And unlike your so-called 'God', gays exist. They always have. They always will. Accept it.
Confused?
