It seems like atheists and fundies agree on a very important point: you can't cherry-pick parts of the Bible. If it stands, it stands on every single passage. The inverse, of course, is true as well. In other words, if even one verse or passage is erroneous, then the whole thing is called into question.
This certainly applies to the laws found in the Bible, even (and especially) those in the Old Testament. I ask you, how many of us would be alive today if our parents followed every single law laid out in the Pentateuch? Quite a few of us were rebellious or unruly children, I would imagine, and so we would have been stoned to death long ago.
Then you have those pesky fiber-blend shirts. Have you ever worn one? That's pretty bad in itself, but it's double-trouble if you've worn one while doing yard work on the Sabbath, and triple-trouble if you go out to eat at Red Lobster after church (a shame, because those garlic cheddar biscuits are pretty damn good).
If you're male, then I hope to your god that you have never touched a woman while she was on her period. Granted, it's rude to ask, but it may be in your best interest to do so (note: it still counts as touching her if she slaps you after you ask).
I think we can agree on this "no cherry-picking" thing. The difference, though, is that atheists rightly believe that the rule applies to the entirety of the Bible, whereas you people use it to single-out homosexuality, completely ignoring the myriad of other laws, not to mention the point of the rule itself.
