With 30,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries, you can get your chicken McNuggets fix just about anywhere. Rev. Don Wildmon, founder and chairman of the American Family Association, says McDonald's' success can be attributed to their choice to market to one American institution.

"McDonald's caters to the family," Wildmon says. "They put emphasis on the children."

But the pro-family leader says the world's largest fast-food restaurant chain is branching out into a new business -- promoting the homosexual agenda.

"McDonald's ... has given a significant amount of money, I might mention, to become a member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce," Wildmon explains. "Among the many other things that the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce promotes is hate crimes [legislation], the ENDA [Employment Non-Discrimination Act]. [T]hey're dedicated to pushing the homosexual agenda."

What is wrong with promoting hate crime legislation? Are you planning a hate crime against GLAD and afraid of getting caught?

If you are so worried about the children, maybe you shouldn't be letting them eat the food at McDonalds. I'd be more afraid of that than the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

I may not like their food, but I say good for McDonalds.

More and more major corporations are supporting LGBT rights, including domestic partnership benefits to employees and advertising to the market, and they have for quite some time. The AFA can advocate boycotting whatever they like, as it's their right, but their members are in for a rude awakening, once they realize how many companies are gay-friendly.

Oh well, it'll make them feel more special and persecuted.

You may not realize it, Reverend, but there are plenty of homosexual people out there who have families. By reaching out to and supporting them, McDonald's is telling these people that they matter just as much as anyone else. You and your ilk need to understand that supporting gay rights is not the same as forcing people to become homosexual. The only "agenda" homosexuals have is the desire to be treated like equals.

I've been pretty happy with McDonald's lately. Their menu seems to be getting a bit better (even if they are ripping off Chick-Fil-A), and they consistently use their corporate presence for good causes.

Ahhh...that elusive "homosexual agenda". I assume the fact that I know nothing about it is just because the gays are conspiring against filthy liberals to hide the obvious TROOF that they are secretly planning to turn everyone into godless, AIDS infected, feces-eating, squirrel-raping sodomites.
