The prophets spoke the Words of God, and as such each word was lovingly written down.
No new books have been added to the Bible. And any self proclaimed prophet you see on TV are false prophets, all have failed the Biblical Test of the Prophet: 100% accuracy!
That means no prophet has trod the earth since John the apostle died on Patmos.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster flew over my house and touched me with one of his many noodly apendege. He then told me that I a the choosen one to preach his word.
I am a prophet for the FSM. All hail his deliciousness!
The apostates(christians) added books to the bible.
There is no john the apostle in the real, unchanged bible.
"all have failed the Biblical Test of the Prophet: 100% accuracy!"
There was prophecy that there would be a rapture, I don't remember that happening.
And, of course, he fails to discern how he can tell a true prophet, from a false prophet, from a devil-conjuring psychic, from a good guesser, from an incredibly proficient liar, from a super-accurate(but not infallible)human being. But, obviously, the Bible writers were prophets. There just isn't any possible alternative.
"No new books have been added to the Bible. "
That might be because of the threats of cursing and being banned from Heaven at the end of Revelation (22:18, 19)..
"18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. "
Then again, it occurs to me that, since it is "The Book of Revelation," John was probably only referring to that particular book. Especially since the NT was compiled by the Council of Nicea, and they actually debated whether to include Revelation at all...
You mean John Calvin, don't you?
No new books were added, but more stuff was found not too long ago, that the original bible conspirators had systematically suppressed. Interesting stuff.
You do realise the reason there are no more books added to the bible is the Vatican and Nicea decided what books were to go in, and which ones were to be left out? And then, they slapped quick dry cement on it and rational thinking. Wonder how you fundamentalist christian brain will do when it realises it's following the Vatican's rules.
Then again, it occurs to me that, since it is "The Book of Revelation," John was probably only referring to that particular book.
Bingo.
Other (non-Biblical) writings from the same time contain similar phrases. Apparently there was a problem with copyists making substantial changes to the books they copied. (see Bart Ehrmann, I think it's in "Misquoting Jesus.")
BTW, MrMannn, Revelation fails the 100% accuracy test too.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
