The three fatal flaws in the Theory of Evolution are:

Every scientific law has a formula or formula equivalent. Theories that cannot produce a working formula eventually are proven false. Darwinians have failed to produce and Evolution Formula.

2. Darwinian Evolution is missing a way to add genes.
Darwinian Evolution requires that organisms be able to add genes as they evolve to more complex organisms but there is no genetic mechanism for adding a gene - Mutations do not create new genes they only alter an existing gene.

3. Helpless Babies Contradict 'Survival Of The Fittest'
The babies of nearly all birds and mammals are helpless at birth. Darwin could not explain this so he ignored babies but every helpless baby is proof Darwin was wrong.

Computer programs can and have been written that effectively model Darwinian evolution; that's as near a formula as makes no odds. Evolutionary trends in the world's biological population can and have been modelled and even predicted using statistical mathematical formulae.

Evolution is a very complex process that cannot be modelled by a single, simple, one-line formula like, say, f=ma; the reason there is no short, snappy, widely-known "Formula of Evolution" is because evolution as applied to the entire, mutually interactive and interdependent millions of species on the entire planet's surface cannot be reduced to anything so simple - if you were to go looking for such a thing, what you'd get is reams and reams of scientific papers and articles describing statistical equations modelling countless different aspects of evolution that, taken as a whole, would probably be as close as you can get to a single equation describing the whole thing.

I suppose it might be possible to formulate some very general, global equations predicting statistical trends, but they'd be like, say, the kinetic theory of gases or Asimov's hypothetical Psychohistory; they'd probably be useless for giving any kind of detail, only big, big trends, like perhaps the rate of speciation against some coefficient of fitness of a population to its environment; it almost certainly couldn't give anything like an answer to the crazy demands of creationists like predicting an individual speciation or the particular number of limbs a creature might have, any more than you could use the gas laws to find the position and velocity of a single molecule of gas within a tank.

No it's not. This is explained in beginning biology.

Mutations do not create new genes they only alter an existing gene.

a) Mutations can create new genes.

b) An altered gene is a new gene.

c) Much of evolution for the last half-billion years has occurred by modifying when and where the genes are turned on and off, rather than by changing the genes themselves. There's very little difference between a human and a mouse that can't be explained by growing different size, but otherwise almost identical, parts.

Evolution is not mathematics or physics and doesn't really need a mathematical formula. I'm pretty sure though that mathematicians have crunched the numbers for biologists on various things. I'm also pretty sure that biologists do have the math (probably in the form of statistics and such) to back up what they say.

Why you feel they need some sort of mathematical formula is just, well, strange.

Not quite. This would be true if you were proposing an idea in physics or, possibly, chemistry but evolution needs no such thing.

New genes are formed all the time you moron. Gene duplication is one way it happens. When a gene is duplicated the copy can change while the original stays the same. Now, if you happen to have a non-essential gene duplicated (through various natural mechanisms the DNA goes through) the duplicated gene is essentially free to mutate in any way it wants as it's almost entirely unrestrained by selective pressure as the original copy is still doing it's job. Given that, new genes can form that are entirely different from the original gene that was duplicated.

There is no ONE mathematical formula for thermodynamics, meteorology, geology, or even quantum theory (although they are seeking one, some calling it ToE, or "theory of everything"). However, each of these have a number of formulae that predict experimental observations accurately. Likewise, evolutionary theory (simply the idea that organisms change over time, and that this is a sufficient explanation for all biological diversity) encompasses a wide range of formulae and models that make accurate predictions of experimental results. In fact, frequentist statistics was born of the need to model evolutionary genetics predictively and accurately in the 1930s. Open up the journal "Evolution" sometime and just try comprehending the math.

Darwin knew nothing about "genes"...he simply supposed that variation in populations was heritable. The concept of adding genes is not part of Darwin's theory. However, evolutionary science did not end with Darwin, and a number of mechanisms have been put forth by which genes are added to genomes (see John's response), and these include not only mutation, but recombination, gene duplication, polyploidy and endosymbiosis. The existence of these mechanisms is not controversial.

This is just stupid. The evolution of high intelligence in humans necessitates that babies are born without fully formed brains--this is called neoteny, the retention of embryonic traits into adulthood. If you were born with a fully developed brain, you would have the cognitive ability of a lizard (and maybe this is the problem at dawrinconspiracy.com). Selection pressure for intelligence necessitates that children are born helpless because their brain is still developing. This has been accompanied by a suite of other adaptations in humans (and other mammals). For example, the human mating system can be described as serial monogamy, in which mating pairs rear children together (as an adaptive norm)...this is precisely because the energy requirements of a helpless baby place a single parent at a competitive disadvantage. This is not a mating system found in the other primates. Exting this to a more inclusive group of animals, mammals produce milk as a way to care for helpless young, so that digestive systems may be somewhat neotenic, allowing flexibility in diet.

The difference between an "evolutionist" and a creationist is this: A creationist believes what they believe because they desperately want it to be true. They look for and make up evidence solely to support their beliefs. An evolutionist believes what we believe because the evidence OVERWHELMINGLY supports our position. But the REAL difference is that a creationist is never going to abandon their position whereas if a theory was developed that was better at explaining the state of nature then evolution I would abandon evolution in favor of the new theory in a second.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL MISINFORMED NINNIES:

1. Evolution is not a scientific law. Scientific laws do all have equations, that's true. You went halfway there, but you still missed vital info. Evolution is a scientific theory. The difference between a scientific law and a scientific theory is not credibility or how well it is supported, but that scientific theories are much too complex to be expressed in a single mathematical equation.

2. Evolution does not require adding a gene. It requires swapping one or altering one, which is done naturally every single day, with nearly every new birth. Actually look up what evolution says, please, on an official site.

3. What? This is why babies are protected by their mother, father, or both until they can fend for themselves. That is part of evolution. If a species does not do so effectively, it dies out eventually. This is a ridiculous argument. Some people have way better counters than these, some that you'd have to be active in the study of biology to explain and be sure you knew what you were talking about. Most definitely not so here. I'm young, and I prefer the humanities.

Most other female mammals have mammary glands (i.e. breasts) that only swell when needed for breast feeding or during mating periods. Humans evolved constantly swelled mammary glands and constant mating, to make the males stay for longer than just one mating. Two parents helping each other to take care of the helpless offspring made more offspring survive.

It was probably more complex than that, but as these dolts don't understand complexity to begin with...

To the dolts: never come to Europe, OK? About 90 % of us takes ToE for granted, so much so that we never even think about it, other than just before the biology tests, of course.
