What is the difference between atheism and Stalin?
Stalin killed innocent people and Atheism is TRYING ITS BEST TO KILL INNOCENT MINDS. So far it failed and it will be failing since it is not based on logic and reason but just an assumption jungle.

"What is the difference between atheism and Stalin?"
Stalin was a person, and atheism is a position which rejects unfounded claims made by humans regarding deities.
Your name, "Clearmind," is very appropriate. Your mind is utterly "clear" of all rational thoughts.
What's the difference between the Hindenberg, and Rush Limbaugh?
One's a flaming nazi gasbag, and the other's a dirigible.
Atheism is trying to kill innocent minds, huh? Actually... no. We support the opening of minds, the expansions of mental horizons, etc.; unlike christianity, which demands total submissiveness and calls it "free will".
Oh, and you want a great example of killing innocent minds? Watch Jesus Camp. The sight of those young children standing there, their arms up in the air, with tears streaming down their little faces because the scary blonde lady is telling them that they're going to hell for sins they've committed... That's not just killing an innocent mind. That's straight up murder.
"Shoot, you cowards, you are only killing a man." -Che (last words)
I think you have more in common with the commies than you admit to. You find ideas more threatening than murder.
If McCarthy weren't dead, I'd call his ass in on you.
My first fundie!
I'm so proud.
Oh don't tell me this wankstain has finally made it to FSTDT.
He's been a persistent haemorrhoid in the rectum of discourse ever since he started trolling the Richard Dawkins front pages with his droolingly encephalitic tard. Another case of transmissible fundiform encephalopathy whose IQ is less than that of the toenail clippings from my dead budgie.
As for his ludicrous assertion that atheism is out to kill minds, one has to ask what killed his.
WE can not only base a system on logic and reason. That's the failure of the rationalist philosophers. "If a rationalist developed a coherent system which does state that something dead remains dead, he can stand among hundreds of howling ghouls and still say that there are no ghosts."
We make a lot of assumptions about reality (for example the assumption of constant natural laws) and can only revise them if they are no longer supported by evidence.
Key difference, atheism is an ideology and Stalin was a dude born in Georgia, who happened to profess it and, yes, kill so many people. However, the Communist party has suggested his canonisation.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
