Yes, I feel very disconnected with this world. I'm planning for this coming school year on cruise control. My mind doesn't believe that we will be here past the fall. I'm just going through the motions.
I'll plan better for the Spring during Christmas Break.........
If we're still here.

When people make posts like this, I can't make fun of them. These people are suffering from very serious forms of depression, emotional and mental issues that require medical attention. As irrational, hateful and down right stupid that these people can be, I can't see it being right to make fun of someone like this.

Will that be with CAPS LOCK?

Yep, because getting an education is just sooooo un-Christian.

Just fail already.
Must suck to be you, not making any long-term commitments because you're always thinking death is right around the corner.
You probably don't even have a girlfriend, do you?
If I had one, I would pity you.
Get thee to a psychologist or psychiatrist. No, not your pastor, not Christian counselling. You need good professional help. And, get oof of Rapture Ready. Those folks are no good for you... or anyone one else.
Look at it this way - every stupid rapture-addict who walks around staring up at the sky WILLING Jebus to appear is a stupid rapture-addict who is more likely to get hit by a truck, thus leaving all the more oxygen for the rest of us, and fewer dumbass lamewad posts on their psycho site.
"Yes, I feel very disconnected with this world."
Yeah, you are disconnected to the real world.

Sadly, that prohibition on suicide is one of the things that makes Christianity such a successful Meme.
Well, that, and the promises of eternal reward, the threat of eternal punishment for nonbelief, and the impetus to evangelize.
That thread seems to mostly consist of young girls and women with what can be construed as an unhealthy obsession with Jesus and this rapture thing.
I've a fair hunch that most of them are having trouble getting to sleep and/or staying asleep, that they are
having feelings of worthlessness/hopelessness,
are unable to find joy in anything (life has lost its 'flavour')
lethargy and/or agitation
suicidal ideation
slowing of mental processing
obsessionl ideation
Depression is extremely dangerous because it makes you feel like you are going to experience these symptoms for the rest of your life. That's why depression and suicide often go together. Trouble is telling them that they are depressed doesn't work because they don't recognise that they are sick. They often won't take the medication prescribed for them.
There have been 67 predictions of the end of the world (my count - I invite others to try) up to 1990, and who knows how many since (Failed End of World Predictions )
These people need to get their heads out of Tim LaHaye's ass and get a life.
Sadly, the 'denny272' is a female. She has a picture at the bottom of her messages in her signature along with a very humble statement: "Beloved daughter of the most high king." Whatever flavors her milkshake, I guess.
Yes, and by then your grades will be shot and you'll be kicked out before the Spring semester starts. Congratulations! You've taken your first real steps toward removing yourself from the gene pool.
Septic, tell him what he's won!

Why don't you just skip this school year and let your spot be taken by some kid who doesn't share your delusion and wants to take advantage of an opportunity to learn?
It really is like a suicide cult over at RR. Except for that last spark that ignites the whole bottle of petrol and causes it to go up in flames.
I know it's going to happen one day, with all those ready-for-suicide cases sitting around there, it's bound to. I just want to know HOW it'll happen. It sounds so grim to think about, though.
Serving French Fries at Burger King? Ha! I know this person. She's a successful business owner. Never showed any sympathy for others? Totally wrong.
I guess it's reprehensible to have some private feelings, while still running a first class, competitive business that will whip your ---?
Tough shit, no rapture yet.
As anyone could die at just about any moment, we all have to make plans based on the presumption that we are here on Earth for many years to come. When we do die, the plans will just have to be cancelled.
Making plans and looking forward to things can be fun in themselves. Sitting around just waiting for the inevitable end, that is no fun at all.

Someone once thought as you did:

So you 'believe' you won't be here beyond this coming Autumn. We'll hold you to that, denny272. Then once we're in Winter, methinks you'll have to change tour name to 'Deny272'. Because that's all you'll be doing - denying you claimed the (C)Rapture would happen.
'Belief'. So sad. And you wonder why we're Atheists? We only accept FACTS. Which destroy 'belief'. Every time.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
