"Except that 'Xenophobia' isn't a literal, clinical phobia. And in any case, describing your beliefs as "irrational" isn't too far from the truth."
Well, then it shouldn't be called xenophobia. I have no idea why Liberals have such a fixation with phobias.
"It's good because it proves that it's possible for people with different backgrounds to get along."
I don't think this social experiment is a good enough reason to permanently change the demographics of the whole Western world and endangering their sovereignity and cultural and genetic uniqueness.
We wouldn't need to "get along" in a homogenous society, would we? Therefore the only thing we would need to "get along" for would be multiculturalism itself.
I understand the only argument you could come up with in favor of multiculturalism is that we need it to prove that it would work. Taking a huge risk without any apparent positive effects, and imposing it while evidence suggests it WON'T work doesn't seem very logical to me.
"I know that with multiculturalism comes racial tensions for some, but if it wasn't for multiculturalism then we'd just live in an even more ignorant world. More people are open minded this way."
Bigotry on an individual level is a non-issue in a racially and culturally homogenous society.
"We shouldn't be dividing ourselves up, we should be working together and getting along."
Perhaps, but let's be realistic here.
"We're all humans. Unfortunately, some people just can't see that, I guess."
And we all bleed red, blah.
"Then why not just get rid of the ones who cause the tension?"
Now that's an idea.
"And it's not just whites or blacks. It's everyone. Bad people come in every color, as well as good people."
Of course it's everyone. Wherever "diversity" exists, there is also conflict and tension.
"And there's plenty of non-white people who don't even follow their cultural background or don't even speak the language of their ancestors (What I'm trying to say is, they act American). Don't assume that everyone who looks alike, believes and acts alike."
And there's plenty of white people who don't follow their "cultural backround", what is your point? When various European peoples came to America, they blended together and created AN American culture (with some variety) and abandoned their previous cultures, which still exist in Europe. They wanted to become AMERICANS. This is not multiculturalism.
African Americans have a distinct culture of their own - they even have their own language.
And there's tension and conflict: every time a policeman gives a black criminal the Taser, people wonder if there was a racial factor (and thugs given a good excuse to riot...). Every time a white person has ANYTHING to do with a black person, they have to avoid being "racially insensitive". These are non-issues in a racially homogenous society.
Anyway, TIME magazine predicted the result of multiculturalism:

This is what happens IF we all blend together, "get along" you might say. Is this multiracialism? I don't think so. This is what would happen to Europe as well, therefore Africa would STILL be full full of black Africans. Asia would STILL be full of Asian people. But Europe would be full of mixed people.
Whitey, gone.
"If you really feel that 'endangered', then maybe you should change your lifestyle. Life's to fragile and short. Don't waste it all being fearful of something."
Uh.
"What's wrong other races? Now you're starting to sound racist to me."
Nothing at all, as long as they're not a threat to mine.
