Are you trying to say that homosexuality is NOT a choice by asking the question 'when did you choose to be heterosexual?' #1) Being 'heterosexual' ,as you call it, is NORMAL. Therefore I really believe there is no need for the word 'heterosexual'. #2) 'homosexuality' IS a choice... We DO need this word to describe this abomination.

with cunts like this infesting the place, who would CHOOSE a life that is open to bigotry, prejudice, persecution, violence and death.
Nope we're exactly as we we were hatched - a queer switch turned on.
The Xian love overwhelms me with its nauseating stench of self rightousness and malice
Why can't the RR crowd and people like them hurry themselves to god - the world wouldn't miss them?
Yes, just like natural blondes chose to be blond. Being blond is not normal! Brunettes are normal, which is why there are so many of them! Natural blondes should be ashamed of themselves! They should all buy wigs or dye their hair dark so that they'll fit in. Their roots will still be light, but as long as they look like the rest of us, that's okay. And don't even get me started on natural redheads. How dare they not belong to the majority. How dare they not be like the rest of us.
Your argument makes just as much sense.
Just answer the question:
"When did YOU choose to be heterosexual?"
Then ask yourself... WHY?
Are you trying to say that allergy is NOT a choice by asking the question 'when did you choose to not be allergic?' #1) Being 'not allergic' ,as you call it, is NORMAL. Therefore I really believe there is no need for the word 'not allergic'. #2) 'allergy' IS a choice... We DO need this word to describe this abomination.
It seems to me that ddlewis86 is gay and chose to deny his feelings toward people of the same gender. If this is the case, it would stand to reason that he would dislike what he considers "normal" sex, be disgusted with himself for having feelings toward people of the same gender because of his religious beliefs, and is suffering from repression because his beliefs won't allow him to do what comes naturally to him.
Either that, or he's bisexual, and the choice to have an opposite-gender partner is easier for him to make, than it would be if he were gay. He would still be disgusted with his same-sex attractions, though, and this would be enough to cause such hatred.
I always wonder what these people think about hermaphrodites. They probably don't believe they exist, and if someone shows them photos, they'll probably claim they're fakes. Same goes with human tails.
Gays have been documented for centuries, their presence in society is NORMAL.
If you Christians would quit trying to redefine words you'd get that. Gays are also natural: What is, what exists: is natural and normal
These people are enough to drive an atheist to prayer...
"Please, please PLEEEEEAASSSSEE JESUS, COME HOME! COME AND TAKE THEM AWAY! PLEASE!"
Another case of "I don't like those people so they choose to be that way."
"We DO need this word to describe this abomination."
And another thing, I resent you guys using that word. That's our word for making fun of you! We need it!

Colourblindess
ADHD
Lefthandedness
Homosexuality
All occur consistently in a minority of the population. The latter three are not known to be genetic. These sort of things are speculated to arise out of benefit for the majority e.g. ADHD hurts the individual but helps everyone else because they will explore more. Colourblind people can actually detect camouflage not specifically directed at them, so they both remain minorities. Some people just don't get the complexity of emergence.
We're not TRYING to say that homosexuality is not a choice, we ARE saying that homosexuality is not a choice; you're born that way.
If there is a choice, there must be different options. You say homosexuality is a choice, then heterosexuality must be too.
Homosexuality is not an abomination, it's just a normal variation on the sexual orientation scale. Some say we are all more or less bisexual.
As the word "heterosexual" exists, there definitely is a need for it. Words that no-one needs quickly fall into oblivion.
Confused?
