Especially those heartless Social Services people! Why do they hate it so when my children have bruises?

Of course the infant, who is his or her own person, just incapable of self-defense, has no say in this.

I guess the baby doesn't count as a person, huh?

Circumcision is unecessary mutilation, nothing more. The idea that it promotes hygiene is nonsense (unless of course your personal hygiene is crappy in the first place - in which case, learn to take a shower!) and it desensitises the penis, reducing sexual pleasure. There is nothing 'moral' about it, it's barbaric.

Well, statistically speaking, circumcision does reduce your chances of getting stuff like HIV and a couple other STDs, I think.
Having said that, though, I'd still kind of hate to do it to my kid.
