This is from the same place:
"It's harder to understand science than it is to believe in god. This is obviously correct.
Study a lot in school for the next couple of years and you will eventually understand science.
Laziness to understand something is clearly not an argument against evolution."

And the arrogance to say you understand an all-powerful diety to boot! Wow! Failure at light speed

Yes it's too complicated so I would rather be stupid. Way to go Mars.

Does it occur to you that your god has the same problem as you do with science? I mean, he didn't even get the creation sequence right.
Mars, I forgive you for being ignorant. Your imaginary sky daddy insists, after all. Whatever floats your boat.
However... you have forfeited the right to judge them who understand the sciences. You might provide us some yuks simply from being ignorant, but nobody is going to take you seriously.

If I were god, I'd hate the fact that you delight in not using the beautifully complex and amazing brain I'd given you. Failure on all fronts methinks.

So the basic gist of the argument is "I`m stupid, science is hard, therefore I believe in god"
Well... honesty is refreshing.

"well.. with God I know where i came from.. without God im not here today.. science and evolution is complicated.. , it is not common sence to understand it, because it does not make any sence.. I am sure they're are a bunch of poeple who don't know where they came from.. do you think i want to rely on science for that stuff.. thank God i am a believer"

So science is complicated, Mars. What's stopping you from learning more about such? About 10-12 years ago, I knew almost nothing about computers, until someone gave me an old x486 laptop. I tinkered around with it, then after getting a basic Pentium desktop secondhand, and with some books from the library as well as reading computer magazines, I began to learn about the workings of these mysterious devices; what made them tick, the connection of HDs, optical drives, graphics/sound cards etc. Then with subsequent setups, I learned how to upgrade the CPUs, RAM, HDs, and even how to install operating systems.
I now work in a computer shop, repairing, upgrading, and even building bespoke setups. It's not just a job, but a hobby I get paid to do. Thus I pay taxes, therefore I contribute to society. And all from being self-taught on a subject I knew nothing about previously.
If I can, so can you.
Learning. It won't kill you.

Yes, and without that computer, whose science behind you´re unable to understand, you´d not be in Yahoo Answers.

I came from the womb of the woman who gave birth to me after she and her beloved did the mattress mambo some months before (note: since she did not raise me, I don't think she can qualify for the title of "mother"). Now how hard was that, I ask you?
