Quote# 43927

(in a thread about Personality tests and absolutely nothing to do with religion)

I know my savior lives. Lately I have really been studying my bible using hebraic lenses, and there are things in the bible that are so powerful when you actually study it(not just read but STUDY). The bible is so well made that only God could have made it.

Must be a different Bible she's talking about here. Only way it can make sense...

Do these "hebraic lenses" remove all the contradictions, or what?

If I were making a bible, and I included two familial lineages for my savior, I would have them agree with each other or I would at least specify that one was his mother and one was his father.

Apparently your god wasn't up to that task.

It's a forgery, like your imaginary friend.

No, the Bible is obviously not of divine origin. It gets a big fat F in Writing. The clarity is horrendous, the purpose is not stated, it's contradictory, and it lacks a nice summary, just for starters.

The fact that two people can read it and come away with different interpretations speaks volumes.
