Quote# 43958
Coming this November from PBS' "Nova" series is a "documentary" suggesting the following:
* Abraham and Sara, the patriarchal couple of Judaism and Christianity, didn't really exist.
* The Exodus of the children of Israel from Egypt never really happened.
* The Hebrew Tanach, what Christians call the Old Testament, was mostly written just six centuries before the time of Jesus.
[...]It's more than an outrage. It is unconstitutional and un-American.
It is, in fact, just the kind of thing the Founding Father had in mind when they wrote the First Amendment prohibiting the establishment of a state religion.
That is precisely what is happening when the U.S. government funds propaganda promoting what has become, de facto, the official state church in America – secular humanism.

If secular humanism is a church is it entitled to tax exempt status?

Unconstitutional?" Where in the constitution is it said that your religion is exempt from people questioning it's veracity?

There is no evidence for the Moses story, none.
The roots of your Christianity, the oldest part of the testament is 2700 years old at best, everything before that is of Babylonian, Egyptian or Sumerian myths plagerized by Judeism then Christianity.
There is absolutely nothing unconstitutional about disbeliving ancient fables or looking into their history.
We know you want to suppress this knowledge, your lot's been busy for centuries trying to rewrite the past of your religion and others.

You don't get to define religion, asshat. Secular humanism isn't a religion, much less a state religion, just because you say so.
