[On the subject of low sunspot activity, emphasis mine.]
Its funny how scientists think they KNOW everything, and they KNOW there is no God, and they KNOW the big bang theory is real, and they KNOW this and that, but they don't KNOW a simple thing about a planet that is part of our solar system and so important to this world.
How little and insignificant we are.
There are no sunspots because the Lord has simply calmed the sun for now.
dumb scientists.

Yes, damn that sun for being agitated. Praise the lord for calming it.
But hey, can you remind me when it was scientists said they "KNOW" the big bang theory is real?
Fishersofmen:
And the subhuman apes on Grapture SonotReady, have the gall to criticize fstdt commenters for mocking their postings.
Amazing that someone with no apparent knowledge, attempts to critique those dedicated to advancing human knowledge.
You must prove your sky fairy's existence, before crediting it with any action.
I though your ilk were leaving, why would you consider any thing in nature important?
And how do you KNOW that.
Scientists don't KNOW there is no god, most scientists are theists. Scientists don't KNOW that the Big Bang happened, but it's better then whatever you've got. Scientists don't KNOW everything, and chances are, they never will.
"How little and insignificant we are..."
this is actually true PHYSICALLY. But we have minds that can span the universe, and beyond, that can imagine time space and all things to a greater or lesser degree. Even fundies can grasp to something beyond the mundane.
We are the animals that can dream of being greater than we are. Not a bad epitaph for an ambitious monkey
Further down on the same thread:
"I would love to see the look on the scientist face when the sun goes dark like the book of revelations says it will. How they will try and explain how the sun blew up or just went dark and how we survived it. However thankfully I will be in heaven then."
There is a big difference between low sunspot activity and "no sunspots."
And, yes, in the scale of the cosmos, we ARE little and insignificant.
Dumb Fundie.
What's so tragically ironic about this is that when it comes to life's biggest questions(e.g.why are we here? how did life begin? what's the meaning of life? is there life beyond the grave? is there intelligent life on other planets?) it is you christians who claim to have all the answers and no one and nothing can possibly prove you wrong because it's all right there in your precious fucking buybull. Scientists probably know more than anyone how insignificant we really are, yet it is you fundies who believe, no, not just believe, KNOW that humans are not only the most important species on this planet, but the most important creatures in the entire motherfuckin' UNIVERSE. But yeah, it's the scientists that are arrogant.
Go fuck your mother
dumb fundie.
That thread may not be blasphemy, but it is certainly madness.
It's depressing that people who could never comprehend certain fields of science ridicule them and the people who study them.
Also... the Sun? A PLANET? Fail of the century.
Scientist KNOW that the estimate, they appreciate, they evaluate, they follow the evidence and they peer-review what they've found. Very little "KNOWING" goes into it; that's a sure way to go the wrong way, if you think you have the answers beforehand.
Did the Lord tell you that?
Remind me, which verse in the Bible describes sunspots?
Dumb Fishersofmen. The Sun isn't a planet.
dumb scientists

You've just made Princess Celestia superior to your 'God', Ruptured Retards. Start praising her.
It was Akhenaten who pioneered Monotheism via his invention: the 'Aten', and way before Christianity. Shintoists - via Amaterasu - must be right too, eh Raptards...?!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
