If there was no God, there'd be no atheists.

Are you trying to say that everyone would believe in God if he wasn't actually there? Or are you trying to say that no one would exist without God? (The latter, while still very probably wrong, is somewhat more sane.)

I love logic too, but I don't see any logic here,,oh wait
I'm a little slow on sarcasm maybe?
There'd also be no Fundies, too.
Get to the point, willya?
Atheism: Lack of belief in God.
"if there was no God, there'd be no atheists."
This is a false statement. If there was no God, everyone would be atheist due to atheists lacking belief in God. To make the statement true you would need to say
"If there are atheists, then there is no God."
We know athiests exist because I can see them on this page. This must mean God does not exist. By this man's own statement, God does not exist.
I had this more thought out before I wrote it and I forgot the second half about halfway through, and I KNOW I'm like 11 years late.
I guess the worst thing about this concept isn't that he said it but so many of them say this. Or it's partner in stupidity " there mustbe a God as so many deny his existance"
Somehow, in the goobly gook that is scripture speak they somehow think statements like this make sense. Many claim the absolute lack of evidence for Biblical claims is proof of those claims. It's backwards day everyday in fundieland.
If there was a God, there would be no atheists.
Apologists have had to invented whole libraries worth of excuses why God is playing peak-a-boo with everybody instead of showing Himself and getting rid of atheists at one fell swoop.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
